Review summary

the favorite thing was getting off the ship. Rude people below average staff and food was worse than fast food. I have been on 8 cruises and this one is not worth the money

I loved Allure. food was great even in WJ. didn't feel crowded to me except after muster or events in the promenade or after shows. it is definately not as intimate as smaller ships but bartender still remembered my order by second day -so no complaints here!

Bed bugs?

Allure was fabulous. Staff amazing, food delicious, and never felt crowded and it was Thanksgiving.

which Ship?

Exactly Twangster. I always wonder why on earth people book a cruise on Allure knowing that it holds over 5,000 people and then complain about the crowds.

Mega ships aren't for everyone. Ships this size have so much to offer but you have to research ahead of time to maximize potential. Nothing wrong with sticking to smaller ships. No one size fits all in cruising.

I loved Allure, he food and staff was amazing when I was on her in 2013.

Been reading 90% good posts...and some complained the food court food was cold & chair cushions missing but no one dissed the ship like your review

DottieDiehl    7 years ago

Who the staff rude? What food was bad...dining room or food court? Just curious because we booked the Allure for Feb.

Us too, didn't like this ship at all simply because it was too crowded all the time. So much to do, but cannot do it because the lines were too long. So many food options, but cannot do it because lines are too long. We ended up eating at paid restaurants just to get some sanity. Never again on a ship this size.

@robertblackwood. Was this your first cruise? If so, don't give up ~ there are great lines out there for you to discover.
