Review summary

Loved this cruise, everything about it was great. The food was delicious, the shows were entertaining (definitely book these in advance). Service was very good everywhere, only ran into a few grumpy people. Can't believe how many people were on the ship! For the most part, everyone was very spread out. The only busy time was sea days at the pool with everyone reserving chairs. There were people of all ages, can't wait to take our kids on the next trip. I had high expectations and they were met.

The balcony was well worth it. We had room service for breakfast out there and enjoyed coffee in the morning. It was nice to wake up and look outside to see where we were. The ONLY downside to our room is that it wasn't as cold as we like and we called and didn't get much help. Of course the rooms are so small but they have a TON of drawers and spaces for your things.

Ship tip

Make sure you use the mobile passport for debarkation otherwise it's a miserable line! We only had 3 people in front of us and looked over to the regular line with HUNDREDS of people.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Florida itself was great but the Ft. Lauderdale airport is miserable. There are way too many people going in and out of there. We sat on the floor for over an hour then had to hunt to find a seat.

Went to Wikiki beach at St. Martin...beautiful beach but TONS of women trying to sell you things.

We celebrated our 12th Anniversary on Allure last June.  The cake we purchased prior to boarding was unbelievably delicious!  All of our friends said it was the best cake they've ever had.  Happy Anniversary!
