Review summary
We had magnificent weather, easy embark and disembark and delightful encounters with the crew at every turn. But we are likely done with the Oasis class of ships. Just too many passengers on sea days, using the same three banks of elevators found on much smaller ships. The coffee on every cruise used to be stupendous - we love it strong! Now it is so mediocre it forces you to Starbucks twice daily - as I'm sure is the intent. The biggest disappointment is the Windjammer buffet which we avoided mostly. To have a buffet that small with that few choices for meals for 6k passengers? In our 27 cruises on all lines we have never seen such a shabby operation. We are committed to RCI now because my wife wants the perks of diamond class but I remind her that saving several hundred by cruising with the best available deal pays for a lot of beverages.
The good? Entertainment was outstanding, although we could never get into a comedy club without a reservation, or getting in line 45 minutes early. Dining room fare was excellent! Staff terrific mostly. Room was excellent and balcony larger than most lines. We like RCI overall and will go back to Freedom class.

Ship tip
Johnny Rockets serves the best breakfast on the ship and no one seems to know this but there is NO upcharge at breakfast! The setting outdoors in quiet and beautiful.
