Review summary

My favorite part of the cruise was the shows, and hot tub. I recommend firing the head chef and all the chefs on Allure and go on Carnival or any other cruise line to taste what good food is suppose to taste like and selection!

The quality and selection of food was the worst my family and I have ever tasted.

WATCH OUT for last nights left-overs on todays buffet.

I went on an MSC cruise and ordered the vegetarian option in the dining room every night. Once you experience ravioli with brown gravy and rock hard peas and fettuccine a la salt, the Allure seems like dining extrordinaire. At least the veg options taste good!

I liked the food when I was on the Allure a few years ago. I'm going again in January. So what exactly didn't you like?

Coffee in the windjammer I can't drink that is why I go to 5th floor and get it from the snack shop much better windjammer coffee tastes like mud

The quality of food has gone down on all cruise lines it not what it use to be we have noticed from our first cruise 12 years ago

I have to agree, the food was basically horrible. The coffee, undrinkable. And yes, we rate a cruise of food mostly. That's a huge portion of why I, and many others, cruise. Unlimited and exceptional food. Not on this ship and I'm not the only one who thinks it, either.

It's too bad the food caused your entire cruise to be only 1 star.  Where you rating the food 1 star or the overall cruise?

That's why we eat in the specialty restaurants! Our children are with their friends in the kids clubs.
