Review summary

The ride on the Allure was superb--rarely felt an movement.  I could sit and relax on balcony and on the deck.  This was especially valuable on the three sailing days.  For someone who did not care for the paid excursions, the stops in St. Thomas and St. Maarten were disappointing because the activities that you could do on your own were limited to shopping--mostly for diamonds.  My wife, however, loved the shopping.

Cabin / Stateroom

The room was spacious but narrow, which limited the balcony to chairs. The bed was too hard even for me who prefers a stiffer bed. However, the stateroom attendant resolved the bed problem by adding an "egg carton" layer to the bed.
