Fabulous experience on Royal Caribbean - "Allure of the Seas"

Sail Date: October 26, 2014

Room Type: Oceanview

Everything you imagined and more on this Eastern Caribbean cruise.  From the moment you board until you depart, the experience is amazing; the ship was extraordinary!  The staff; cheerful, polite, thoughtful, creative and respectful.  At every turn - from safety to 'top of the line' professionalism and 'over the top' magic and mystery this cruise was incredible.  The entertainment was inventive and stellar - "Chicago" Broadway/Vegas fun.  Everyday options were expansive and original; brilliantly choreographed shopping, delightful dining, athletic opportunities - sailing, art auctions, clubs for mingling and partying to flash mob dancing or line dancing.  There were even parades and theme night events. This is a well organized, creative vacation opportunity for guests of all ages - singles to families.  Impressive!  Ready to board again!

Ship Quality
Gorgeous! This is the 'real deal' - a moving city with immediate options for happiness and wonderful experiences.
Food and Dining
Superior options!
Cabin / Stateroom
Lovely - quiet, beautifully maintained. Lots of room -clean and comfortable.
Service and Staff
Thank you Einstein, Sander,.... oh my gosh - I should have kept a log. They were fantastic - so professional, kind, hard-working and thoughtful.
Tremendous variety. Loved the orchestra and all the musicians!
Children's Programs
Children were mostly well-hidden, but came out smiling, polite and sooooo cute with a Pirate presentation.
Onboard Activities
Something going on every moment of the day!
Destinations and Excursions
Best thing - the America's Regatta Cup sailing excursion. Slightly disappointed with the St. John trip - It was beautiful... but too much time on a second boat and then touring the State Park.
Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida
Good to get on the ship!
Nassau, Bahamas
Scuba diving trip - Awesome!
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Virgin Island Excursion - beautiful!
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Sailing - America's Regatta Cup - Only rainy day - still fabulous!

Dining is fantastic!
Don't feel pressured to purchase the drink refreshment options. You get the souvenier cup... but not really worth it unless you drink soda all day long, or drink all day long. There are bars everywhere and specialty drinks are available.
Have fun and just go for it!
