Cruise the Allure

Sail Date: June 19, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

ship was clean, very clean, very very clean throughout both public and private areas. crew was friendly and helpful. easy boarding and departure. easy access to all ports. five pools offered water side access to larger number of guests. plenty of shows - pre reservations provided casual access and plenty of room for all. make show reservations from home for best day/time access.

Pros: size of the ship, lots of private space, plenty of activities

Cons: dining room food, small portions, poor selection, push 4 u to eat at pay dining

Recommends Allure of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
see above. great ship and crew.
Food and Dining
food quality was the best. formal dining room served small portions and limited menu. appeared to push you to eat at pay for dining room locations. limited post 11:00pm eating. late night room service fees.
Cabin / Stateroom
the best. large, clean, a/c, easy access to all ship activities. floor does not matter. you need to stay on balcony.
Service and Staff
staff was always available, always smiling and willing to help. tv ship info channels provided good overview of daily activities and de-boarding specifics
Entertainment
great shows. see them all.
Falmouth, Jamaica
not much here. old town with one street. took bus to shopping location. not much there either. suggest you take a 30 minute taxi to larger city.
Don't Miss: nothing there to miss.
Cozumel, Mexico
rented a car and drove around the island. 100cc scooter rental is to small to use outside of the city. both low and high end shopping. standard mexico bars. stopped at private beach club.
Don't Miss: beach
Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island)
lots of space, lots of improvements from prior years. plenty of food, sun and water.
Don't Miss: bbq lunch
