A: Masks are not required. But I'd still take some.
Answered by Beachcrazy on December 23, 2022
A: we are just off The Allure... we wore masks especially in the elevators and other close encounters.. a 100 or so guests were escorted off with either the flu or covid... the sailing before us had a lot of sickness also... 😷
Answered by geniakelley on December 24, 2022
A: They are not required for US based cruises and most people don’t wear them. I also find it hard to believe anyone was “escorted off” of the Allure due to illness. Like Texas would enforce such a thing when even the CDC doesn’t.

A: If you have the Royal Caribbean app you can check out things on the ship. One of the items is Dining. From there, you can look at the menus to see when lobster night is. By the way, you can pay an addition fee and get lobster anytime you want.
Answered by swstaz on March 26, 2023
A: Lobster is normally served on the second formal night.

Q: Sailing on Allure in November - first time on this class of ship. Where are some good places on deck to relax and read during the day? I.e., quiet!

A: Our favourite spot is a bit unusual. Deck 8 on the promenade right at the back. There are some chairs just off the running track looking over the wake from the ship.
Answered by sprigghouse on October 20, 2022
A: The running track is on deck 5. But maybe they are thinking of the sun deck which is at the front of the ship. That might be deck 8?. When I was on the ship in September, while the sun deck was open all the loungers were stacked and tied up. I... t was a shame as there are not too many ‘quiet’ spots and this would have been perfect.See More

A: We did. Long ride, but I was either asleep or looking out windows. To go underground to swim was amazing compared to seeing on tv. Chichen itza was something I Will remember and now want to see the other wonders of the world.

Answered by BASSON61 on August 22, 2022
A: Exactly as it sounds for the MDR. "My Time Dining" you reserve each night individually for times between 6-8pm. You will have a different table and likely different waiter each night. Picking early 530pm or late 8pm dining... You have the same table... and wait staff each night at that time. You must be seated within 20min of your time slot or they give your table away to the My time dining pool.See More
Answered by CVCruiser on August 22, 2022
A: If you choose to have a consistent dining time you will select usually either 5:30 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. and you will go to dinner each night at that same time and have the same table and same wait staff. My Time dining is usually available from 6:45 p.m... . to 9:00 p.m. You can go to dinner whenever you'd like during that time frame but as others have stated you may have to wait based on how many other people are trying to go to dinner at that time.See More

Answered by Dellen on September 13, 2022
A: Its not a matter of producing heat, as much as how much power it draws. Cruise cabins do not use the same size electrical wiring as standard household wiring. Which can result in damaging their circuit breakers, or cause a electrical fire if you draw... too much current through it.See More
Answered by CVCruiser on July 22, 2022
A: Anything that produces heat is prohibited. So they will confiscated.
Answered by tom124293 on July 21, 2022

A: If you are at a concierge level, let him or her take care of it. But if you’re not, arrange it with the maitre d’ and most of the time you will get what you want. Good luck 😃😃

A: my husband and I were on the May 28th- June 5th sailing and we had anytime dining and we had no issue getting a table for 2 when we ate in the MDR. enjoy you sailing I know I did.
Answered by christaleyes on July 20, 2022
A: i believe that if you want yo request a table for 2, you should request early or late dining. I've seen long wait lines waiting to get in for anytime dining. And btw I will be on the same cruise. i cant wait.
Answered by emmieluvscruzin on July 20, 2022
A: No, not in advance. You can ask when you arrive at the dining room, but no guarantee with my time dining.
Answered by crusin4gramma on July 21, 2022
A: I sailed several times as a single cruiser. I kept the same head waiter and assistant. Not at the same table but in the same area of MDR.

Q: will they let you board earlier than designated boarding time? we usually board between 11-12pm. this time it gave us a time of 130pm. can we arrive and board earlier?

A: As you can see from previous replies, it's a roll of the dice. One member of our group had a 1pm time while the other 3 had 11am times and we all got on at 11. I did not see them turning anyone away or holding them back but I'd think a lot of it has... to do with capacity. If they enforce boarding times, it's still possible they can get through the earlier groups quickly and you may get on prior to your scheduled time.See More

A: We've never had to wait... Wr always arrive 45-60+ min before our boarding time, and weve always been sent right on through. But... We are Diamond level on RCL too.
Answered by CVCruiser on August 5, 2022
A: We traveled with a large group and some of us had an early time, some a late time, but we all got on the ship together.
Answered by loriad28 on August 16, 2022
A: Yeah diamond used to be able to board earlier maybe if you are diamond they will let you by anyway?

A: It's advisable to book all your reservations at the same time as soon as you board the ship. Find a reservation desk or table, or go to any restaurant and they will make them for you.
Answered by Beachcrazy on May 27, 2022
A: You can book your reservations online through the Cruise Planner. You can change the reservations once board. That's what I have done.
Answered by mstrussmathews on May 27, 2022
A: Once you have boarded make your reservation for your restaurants. It would be best to make reservations for all your choices on day one
