A: We are taking fun outfits… anyone else?
Answered by Dellen on September 13, 2022
A: Its not a matter of producing heat, as much as how much power it draws. Cruise cabins do not use the same size electrical wiring as standard household wiring. Which can result in damaging their circuit breakers, or cause a electrical fire if you draw... too much current through it.See More

A: As soon as I unpack I put clothes that need pressed in a laundry bag and have room steward pick them up. The next day they are hanging in my closet before dinnertime. I'm wrinkle free for the week.

A: It was a no go on the steamer for us. Fortunately we were reunited at the end of the cruise.

A: If you are at a concierge level, let him or her take care of it. But if you’re not, arrange it with the maitre d’ and most of the time you will get what you want. Good luck 😃😃

A: my husband and I were on the May 28th- June 5th sailing and we had anytime dining and we had no issue getting a table for 2 when we ate in the MDR. enjoy you sailing I know I did.
Answered by christaleyes on July 20, 2022
A: i believe that if you want yo request a table for 2, you should request early or late dining. I've seen long wait lines waiting to get in for anytime dining. And btw I will be on the same cruise. i cant wait.
Answered by emmieluvscruzin on July 20, 2022
A: No, not in advance. You can ask when you arrive at the dining room, but no guarantee with my time dining.
Answered by crusin4gramma on July 21, 2022
A: I sailed several times as a single cruiser. I kept the same head waiter and assistant. Not at the same table but in the same area of MDR.

Q: will they let you board earlier than designated boarding time? we usually board between 11-12pm. this time it gave us a time of 130pm. can we arrive and board earlier?

A: As you can see from previous replies, it's a roll of the dice. One member of our group had a 1pm time while the other 3 had 11am times and we all got on at 11. I did not see them turning anyone away or holding them back but I'd think a lot of it has... to do with capacity. If they enforce boarding times, it's still possible they can get through the earlier groups quickly and you may get on prior to your scheduled time.See More

A: We've never had to wait... Wr always arrive 45-60+ min before our boarding time, and weve always been sent right on through. But... We are Diamond level on RCL too.
Answered by CVCruiser on August 5, 2022
A: Yeah diamond used to be able to board earlier maybe if you are diamond they will let you by anyway?
Answered by Joshharris on August 16, 2022
A: We traveled with a large group and some of us had an early time, some a late time, but we all got on the ship together.

A: It's advisable to book all your reservations at the same time as soon as you board the ship. Find a reservation desk or table, or go to any restaurant and they will make them for you.
Answered by Beachcrazy on May 27, 2022
A: You can book your reservations online through the Cruise Planner. You can change the reservations once board. That's what I have done.
Answered by mstrussmathews on May 27, 2022
A: Once you have boarded make your reservation for your restaurants. It would be best to make reservations for all your choices on day one

Q: Hello! I booked allure of the seas deck 8 room 8220. It is across the hall from a grey area on the map. Is that grey area something that I should be worried about? Will I hear noise from our room? Is it a kitchen opening up to the hall? Thank you!

A: Look at the map of the ship by floor, and you will see what your floor has going on!!! sounds like you are on floor where Central Park is!!! I'm on 7th level!!!
Answered by kiradare on May 13, 2022
A: I booked the room in the same area and was told it is very quiet
Answered by Orlando81 on May 13, 2022
A: I would pick that room anytime! Almost perfectly midship. Pretty sure the only thing you will hear is the water slapping along side the ship. There is a hallway between your room and Central Park.

Q: I’m slightly confused. Is everyone required to be vaccinated AND have a negative test or just one or the other? I am vaccinated but just want to make sure I have time to get tested need be.

A: Things change quickly but as of this moment yes you need to be vaccinated appropriate to your age AND show a negative test 2 days before you depart. This has been pretty much the standard protocol since cruising restarted.
Answered by TheMasters on April 17, 2022
A: Always follow your cruiselines guidance for YOUR cruise.... RCL is very good at giving clear guidance for your cruise, your home port, and your ports you will be visiting. Things change rapidly, so I make it a habit of checking every couple weeks unt... il 30 days out, then I check every week to make sure Im aware of the current policies. 👍See More

Q: Hi guys! I have a question about the ports. I’ve been on a few Disney Cruises in the past with my family. Most of these were when I was younger with a very large family so we didn’t ever do any crazy excursions. Well I finally booked my own cruise with my boyfriend and we want to do some fun excursions, but feel indifferent about driving two hours away from the port for most of them. Anyone who has done excursions farther away, what are your thoughts? Is it safe? Do you have enough time to get back to the port? What if it runs long or you get lost? Someone help curb my anxiety, as I would love to go out and adventure but I am slightly freaked out by the idea of going so far.

Answer Question
Q: Does anyone think purchasing the Key is worth it? The price for my cruise is listed at $41.99 per day per person. We would purchase internet access anyway, so that would be worth about $20 per person per day. But the additional $21.99 seems high for what you get. Thoughts?

A: Really not worth it at all. Your assessment is accurate. Enjoy.
Answered by RoyalCruzer on March 13, 2022
A: I would say no. Unless you want priority activities. And even that can be iffy. I have heard many complaints about no priority boarding, etc. during this post Covid time. So I say save your money. The lunch at chops grill is like 20.00 or a bit more... anyway, and WiFi is cheaper than that “key” price too. Have fun in what ever you decide to do.See More

A: My experience with a recent RCL cruise was that all show reservations had to be made after boarding:

A: As soon as you can access the ship wifi. If you can get on it from the terminal, you can start booking via the app.

A: I haven’t cruise since November of 2019. I was able to make all my reservations prior to boarding the ship. Some of the reservations were made by phone and I used the online tools. Not sure if things have change. I would call RC directly for the most... updated information. I enjoyed the fact that when I boarded the ship, everything was scheduled.See More
Answered by Rozzy57 on March 13, 2022
A: Yes, if you purchase The Key you will still need to make reservations once onboard for the shows you want to see.
Answered by gdawgpiano on March 13, 2022
A: You can not book anything except dinner reaervations until you board the ship.
Answered by CVCruiser on March 13, 2022
A: Dinner is fun when you have different people at your table. It’s the same people every night. Great way to meet others and then go to entertainment together. They usually do a good job putting couples together etc.
Answered by Dellen on September 13, 2022
A: I booked my next cruise on Allure with a travel agent, who told us that we can specify table size with our booking. We chose a table for 2 since there’s just two of us, but we could have asked for a larger table.

A: We cruised last week on Liberty of the Seas. No masks were required for vaccinated guests on board, but you can wear them if you want. You will need to wear masks indoors before you board, when you get off, and tender boats. Staff are double masked.... It worked very well.See More
