Review summary

Had a blast! We were really relaxed this cruise; no strainous activities, no busy scheduling, no pressure! It was awesome! 5 days is the perfect length for this! We got back on Thursday, giving us the weekend to regroup and re-acclimate to life w/o a crew to take care of us! LOL

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Swift, Smooth & Easy!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Service was impeccable. Food is good; not gourmet, by our standards, but the variety was excellent and the ambiance can't be beat!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Huge selection & variety. Even if you're a couch-potato, there's plenty to do! Cruise staff was amazing!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We loved the shows. 80's Mix Tape was the only one about which we had anything negative things to say. That one could really be improved (although the band members were fantastic, the show, itself, lacked audience engagement.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Although there were over 500 kids on board, it felt nowhere even close to that! So, obviously, they had a lot to keep them entertained!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
If you're looking to experience what top-tier service excellence actually feels like, this is the place! Friendly, accommodating, attentive service at every level, in every department!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Many of the installations needed a thorough dusting, but everything else was clean, well-designed and well-maintained!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Beyond expectations and much larger than anticipated. Our steward took excellent care of us and everything was always well-stocked and care was given to every detail!

Ship tip

Take time to just walk around and explore the ship. Get to know where everything is and become aquainted with "forward", "aft", "port", etc. and most importantly, where those are in accordance with YOU, your cabin, your dining room and all the important places you want to be! All the decks are well marked and there are deck maps on every level. You won't get lost (even if you need to ask a crew member, they're very helpful). Knowing your way around, though truly makes everything run more smoothly.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

5 out of 5
Clean, well-organized, easy to locate and loads of parking options!

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

2 out of 5
The cruise industry REALLY needs to invest in this port. The area is so impoverished. The people are lovely & accommodating, so let's accommodate them a bit more, shall we?!

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Love Cozumel! Every time, there's something new, some sort of change and it's constantly in the midst of working towards becoming an even better port for both tourists and (as much as we could tell) those that live there!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Extremely easy! No hiccups, whatsoever! Just follow the directions, watch the info on your in-cabin TV & READ your debarkation handout your steward gives you.

Traveler Photos

Perfect Weather & Just the Right Amount of Port Time! Perfect Photo Op! Read the History! Very Intersting! Ready to Launch!
