Review summary

Out first Christmas cruise and the tree lighting and decorations gave you that Christmas feeling from the start. We were concerned about it not feeling like Christmas because we were in the Caribbean, but everything was wonderful. They even passed out Christmas gifts in Studio B Christmas morning. One thing I did learn about Adventure of the Seas is that that balconies have a huge metal surround so it's not like walking out on a typical balcony with a glass front. It made basic talking and noise like you were in an echo chamber and also contributed to a lot less sunlight on the balcony. (Adventure of the Seas and Voyager of the Seas are the only ship like this) Other than that the ship was great! One other thing memorable about this trip was our first time to Labadee. Beautiful place but one thing I just can't get out of my mind was seeing the trash in the water :( Wasn't noticable on the beaches in fact swimming and jet skiing was awesome, but where the ship docks and along the walkway it's very noticeable. Papers, wrappers, floating in the water. Once I saw it I couldn't look away. But overall the Christmas Cruise was truly great, and we go again over any Holiday, in fact we put that on our list to be cruising on every Holiday!

Jr Suite. My only complaint is the balconies on this particular ship have a huge metal surround unlike most balconies on Royal Caribbean. Echo chamber balcony and less sunlight due to this

Ship tip

The ship was great! Lots to see and do.
