Review summary

After more than 40 cruises, this was very nice. Older ship but well maintained, saw nothing needing to be replaced in our cabin and common areas looked fine. Also, size of ship is very manageable.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Fastest embarkation we've ever had, but did not ask for required covid pre-testing results nor the Arrive Canada proof.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Dining room excellent, clean and service great.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Used the outdoor track for a run every other morning, not many people there but it was early.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Good production shows and guest entertainers.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent service from all.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Immaculate

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Choose an inside Promenade View for this sailing and were pleased. Larger than expected, one loveseat plus the window seat made for a nice place to relax. That large window made a difference in regards to making the cabin feel more spacious.

Ship tip

Had assigned early seating for dinner, My Time line to wait to get in was back all the way to elevators most nights.

Ports of call

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

5 out of 5
Got dropped off, no wait.

Boston, Massachusetts

4 out of 5
Have been there before, watch those taxi's, was hard to find one who would run the meter, they all wanted a over priced flat rate. USS Constitution is worth going to explore and appreciate.

Bar Harbor, Maine

5 out of 5
Took the free Island Explorer bus provided by LL Bean and went to Acadia National Park, never seen it so crowded but well worth going, never get tired of this beautiful treasure.

Portland, Maine

5 out of 5
Did the coastal train tour right near ship, first time doing this, really enjoyed it.

Saint John, New Brunswick

3 out of 5
Went to Kings Square, beautiful park and monuments but lots of homeless, police were patrolling and that made it feel a little safer. Only a 10 minute walk from ship.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

3 out of 5
Rained at this port, explored the Museum of Immigration. Nice shopping attached in same building.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Took our own luggage off, fast!
