Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
dining room: Food not so good, waiter served food to wrong person at table every night, dropped a desert, never got coffee with desert, but mentioned several times to rate him as a 10. Buffet: not much of a selection, alot of Indian food, never any tables available. o
Open seating breKfast the coffee creamer was bad and the strawberries were fuzzy.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Pools to small for the amount of people, pool waiters took forever to bring drinks (what happened to them bring a tray of frozen drinks around).
Entertainment
3 out of 5
70s show excellent, comedian not so funny first night but very funny last night, karaoke had same people so others could not sign up.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Room steward great, waiter at open seating breakfast forgot half the order and when we told him he said dinning room is now closed
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Common areas clean. Not enough onboard shopping, or food places. Just pizza
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Very small room, balcony needed a paint job, very rusty.
Ship tip
Boat too small and old, go on bigger and newer ship.
Been here about 10 times by boat and liked it. Snorkel beach fun, not so crowded like tobacco bay. Rented a pontoon boat and captain Edward took us snorkeling, swimming and sight seeing.
We loved AOTS when we went! It was perfect getaway for me and my husband. Food was excellent! We knew it was a smaller ship but it still had lots to do.
I've only been on AOTS once, but plan to go again in the fall. There does seem to be quite a few give negative comments - maybe because they were expecting something else. I was expecting their smaller ship design and I was pleasantly surprised with it.
Thanks for the review. It’s interesting to see the different perspectives of the same ship. Someone else on a recent cruise posted that the ship was modern and beautiful.
