To whom it may concern;
My wife and I are loyal crown and anchor members of your cruise line. We have over 9 cruises with this cruise line. (Delsia Crown Society 364137830 Lee
Crown# 368575007)
I can truly state we have never been so disappointed with the service we received on our last cruise on 8/27/2022 Adventures of the Seas.
Incident:
We requested early dinning and was assigned table number 365 which was for a couple near the window.
On 8/27/22 at 5:00 p.m. upon entering the main dinning room on deck three the host escorted us to our table. There was a couple seated at our table. The host looked at their sea card and it clearly stated their table was 345. The lady at the table refused to move and the host did not insist they move.
My wife requested to speak to the head host or person in charge . The head host who’s name we could not retrieve looked at the lady sea card and our sea card and decided to move us to another table. We were upset with his decision. It was pretty evident that this was a racial decision on his behalf.
Rather than making a scene we moved to the white couples table #345.
Second Incident:
On 8/28/22 we arrived at the main dinning on deck three at 5:00 p.m. and went to our assigned seating table 365 which is on our sea card. The white couple was there again and we were told by the head host our table was changed to table #323.
We were very upset that our assigned table was changed permanently without any phone calls or notification from guest services.
Incident 3:
On 8/30/22 at 5:00p.m. We arrived at the third floor dinning room and the head host Lenus escorted us to table #130. Once again we were moved without notification.
The dinning room management on deck three needs to undergo diversity training. Treating African Americans the way we were treated does not sit well with my wife and I. We are scheduled for another cruise on the oasis of the seas 9/18/22 and if we experience any issues such as the ones above we will seek to use other cruise lines in the future.

Cabin / Stateroom

Balcony was a nice size!! Balcony door had to be greased with WD4 because it was hard to open.
Ship tip
If your African American be prepared to be treated as a second class citizen when it comes to being served in the main dinning room!
I would hope that any issues you encountered in the MDR were nothing to do with race and were more down to staff issues all the cruise lines seem to be facing while recovering from the pandemic.
