Review summary

First time on RCL and I loved it. Will sail them again. Lots of fun things to do onboard and lots of fun shore excursions. The food was GREAT!

About 10-15 minutes after walking into cruise terminal I was onboard. Very efficient process.

Best food I’ve had on a cruise. This includes the buffet. Their MDR was outstanding, food and service. Buffet is laid out very well. Plenty of room to move around.

Had an issue with the shower. Called maintenance. They took care of it right away. The air conditioning worked! Hurray! Room was great!

Deck three! Can’t get across without going up to deck 4 and then cross over and then descend.

A cautionary tale. Did bicycle/kayak excursion. Bike to beach, then kayak. Fun, no problems. If you do this excursion, don’t order food from the guy taking orders on the beach. I ordered a quesadilla and paid the guy. It was quite a bit, expected an excellent quesadilla. I received three tiny tortillas with cheese-wiz squirted on them. I was ripped off. I didn’t want to make a stink so kept quiet. Didn’t eat the crappola and just took it as lesson learned. Only negative thing on the cruise. Everything else was great.

I arrived two days ahead of my cruise and enjoyed visiting different attractions. Wish I had given myself a few more days. Lots to see and do in Fort Lauderdale and surrounded areas.

Glad you enjoyed it. We were on AoS in November we loved it as well. We have always found a good variety and quality of food in both the dining room and buffet on Royal Caribbean as well and are surprised at the complaints we see about the food.
