Need to have more pools for children. My grandson is 8 and did not want to use the kiddie pool and the other pools were too deep.

Cabin / Stateroom

We were very disappointed that the balconies would not open and connect. I purchased connecting rooms with and expected to also share the balcony. We usually cruise on Carnival and have never encountered this issue. Love to spend time with our grandson on the balcony. Also, disappointed that we did not have a refrigerator. Was only a cooler. Strange. Our cabin steward was not very friendly. On every Carnival cruise we are greeted by our name and very personable. Never happened on this cruise.

Ship tip

Do not book if you want connecting balconies and a refrigerator.

Sorry you didn't enjoy cruising on Royal. We have had two cruises on Royal and both times we had connecting balconies. Thanks for the review.
