Review summary

Loved the ports of call, sailing time was very disappointing. Cost was outrageous compared to the fact that we had to purchase drink packages just to get water and soda. The food that was included was not good, I got sick one evening. The ship rocked so bad at times we couldn’t sleep.

RCCL Drink package are ridiculously too Fricking High not considering the facts that drink package drinks are watered down ( use less alcohol)

Usually you can get free beverages by going to the Thirst Quenchers stations on the pool deck and the Windjammer.

I thought that water was free! We sailed on the Allure and there were many places to get free water, milk, juice, ice tea and coffee.

We were on the adventure of the seas in November and had a completely different experience. We had a large Oceanview room for 8 days for $ 599 pp, but booked a year in advance. We found an excellent variety and quality of food in both the dining rooms and buffet. We had no trouble getting a deck chair just one level up from the pool deck. Any ship will have motion if the seas are rough and there have been lots of comments about rough seas during the week that you sailed. We did self-debarkation and had no issues. We went to the buffet for breakfast at 6:00 am, left our cabin at 6:30 and were off the ship and through customs quickly and at the airport by 7:00 am.

You didn't have to buy drink packages for water and soda

There are many cruise lines ,so we do tend to choose what is best for us,but with only one cruise on one ship does not give you the total picture of the complete cruise line!
