Review summary

Fun family cruise but I’m spoiled by the Oasis class ships and their higher quality of food, staff, and entertainment. Would not cruise Adventure OTS again due to high amounts of casino smoke flowing into other areas of the ship.

Embarkation

This is our 5th RC cruise and I must say the most disorganized embarkation process. Sitting around waiting with no direction or information unless you get up to ask. Needs major improvements.

Food and Dining

Food was average. Not nearly as good as on the Oasis class ships. Johnny Rockets was yummy!

Onboard Activities

Slides were awesome and so was fitness center.

Entertainment

The Elvis impersonator was AMAZING! First comedian Zoltan was very funny (younger humor). Closing comedian was old and not funny at all. Needs to retire. Ice skating was also amazing!

Service and Staff

The entertainment crew were about a C-. Drew Devine is a decent cruise director but the rest of the staff were meh. Exception: small guy from the Philippines was wonderful! Stateroom attendant was very good. Dining staff were good but asked too many times for a rating of 10 on the survey.

Small and a little outdated. Rooms on newer ships are a little bigger.

Ship tip

The casino is central to the ship and smoke travels up the spiral staircase to the Royal Promenade. Decks 3-5 are very smoky because of this. I will not cruise Adventure OTS again because of this.
