This ship size and cruise itinerary is more fit for couples and not for kids who wants to enjoy the pool or swimming. Heading up north was more on the chilly side hence I've noticed lesser crowd in the pool area. This cruise would be more for sightseeing and relaxation. I found this ship got lesser activities than the bigger ships. With lesser passengers, I also found out that the ships was more organized and friendlier.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Mainroom dining was very excellent. Most dishes were repeats, but they were still delicious. We also went to Chops. Chop's food were a lot better from the Mainroom dinning but it wasn't for free. We also tried the breakfast and lunch buffet a few times. Lunch buffet food were above average but the breakfast buffet wasn't that nice.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
I loved the salt-water pools. The pools weren't that big but the pool depth was good enough for me. They clean and refresh the pool waters every night.
I also tried both the slides, and it was amazing for a cruise ship standards. I was almost tempted with doing the flow rider but I was afraid of hurting my back, so ended skipping this activity hence you also need to sign a waiver.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The main show were top notch with really good dancers/performers. The ice show was also wonderful.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Service staff did their best to satisfy their guests. I see them always smiling and greeting guests even though they've worked long hours. This is one of the main reason I go for a Royal Caribbean cruise, its their wonderful service.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Cleanliness is always observed around the ship. Design has been upgraded and they tried to make it more modern with the times.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We had a junior suite for me and my wife. It was spacious for 2 persons with the walk-in closet. Upon walking in the first time, we could feel that our room attendant did a good job in making our room feel refreshed and clean. We got a very good room cleanliness every day.
Ship tip
Don't expect a lot of activities on this ship. It's more for relaxation and food.
We did the cave tour. We went through the covered wooden bridge. The Seaside restaurant has the best seafood chowder I've ever tasted-lots of lobster in it.
The worst part of this stop was the boat tendering. With the limited number of hours for this stop, you'll waste about an hour's worth of time for outbound/inbound boat tendering. But that not the ship's fault for a shallow water port. While here, you need to eat a Maine Lobster, that's if your not allergic to it. The tour we had was more on watching seaside cliffs. There's a lot shopping places you can go near the port area with good prices. Also you must try the Mt. Desert Island Ice cream. The ice cream are all made locally in Maine.
This is the most scenic excursion we had on this vacation. A must see is Peggy's Cove and the fishermen's area. After the excursion, you can have a nice stroll on the boardwalk near the port with lots of locally owned/made products and food-try the lobster chips. We also went inside the Maritime Museum with lots of artifact from the Titanic. Titanic sank near Nova Scotia.
