Review summary

Had a wonderful time with friends on this cruise. Our aim was to relax, and other than screaming young children on board, it was VERY relaxing. Formal night attire should be maintained (not jeans and t-shirts) -- the ship encouraged passengers, but didn't bar them from the dining room as other ships have done. If they're going to do that, just say there is no dress code.

Giovanni's was EXCELLENT, especially Bienvenido (Benny.) Buffets were very crowded at dinner, and sections were roped off. It was hard to find a seat at times. Food in dining room quite good!

Our waiters (Bienvenido and Josue especially) were great! Room steward (Kim) followed through with ice ever day when asked at the beginning of the cruise.

Cabin was consistently clean, bed VERY hard, lighting good. Will shoot for a suite next time.

Ship tip

There were way too many screaming children on board, probably because we went close to a holiday.

Very crowded area right at the port with lots of souvenir shops where the sales people didn't want to leave us along trying to get us in the shops.

Panoramic tour -- spice market and tequila making. Our guide Luz and driver Daniel were GREAT! Very informative. Wonderful! Shop area was very nice.

Who cares what people are wearing to dinner! Your on vacation. If you want to dress up, go right ahead. Most people have to dress for work everyday. On vacation, it should be casual.
