Review summary
This was a very relaxing cruise for us. Not a ton of activities, and some were right before or during dinner service, so it limited the shows/entertainment that we could partake. Food in the MDR was ok, not knock your socks off, but ok. Specially restaurants were great. We loved Izumi for lunch. The staff in there was the best! Cabin was nice and roomy for 2 of us. Bed was very uncomfortable. Time for updates there. Bar service was easy, never had to wait, and bartenders were always happy to serve you with a smile. The thing that stands out most, is the staff. I've been on bigger, nicer ships and the staff was 50/50 at best. This cruise, the staff was outstanding. Every one that we encountered, including the maintenance people hanging from scaffold, took the time to smile and say hello! That means the most to me. The only time I went to Guest Services was to let them know how thrilled we were with the staff. BTW when we went to GS, no line! No line = no problems. I've been on other ships where the GS line was longer than the buffet line!Embarkation
