Review summary

We had a good time but, my family and I can always have a good time. I feel for the value of this cruise it wasn't worth it.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
The woman who checked us in wouldn't do both rooms for our party even though the man who told us to go over together said she would. She didn't say anything to us but, I over heard the agent next to us tell the couple that the rooms weren't ready till 1 and that lunch was being served in Windjammer. If I hadn't heard that I wouldn't have know where to go. We also had to retake the photos she had just taken because she didn't like the ones we uploaded. The security guys even said the first picture was fine but, had to take all 6 again.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Windjammer was same food at every breakfast and lunch. Other cruises I've been on have something different each day. Main dining room was better but, our service was horrible. The waiter was too soft spoken for such a loud room, our assistant waiter was no where to be found all week, our waiter did everything.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
While my teens are not into the arcade that seemed to be the only thing they could do at night. They did the Flowrider (loved it) every day but, no other activities for them. I should restate those were the only things they could make it to as most of the teen activities were at dinner time! Sudoku tournament wasn't a tournament it was what they did to get people in for trivia. Lifeguards were not consistent in enforcing the rules by the pools and the whirlpools were overrun with small children. (I am a former lifeguard & whirlspools are meant for 13 and up.)

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Smoking area by pool was horrible, The smoke was going into the area little kids were in. Too many specialty restaurants, we never say anyone in them. Garage was piled up by Garbage cans and dirty dishes were in the halls for 24 hours before being removed.

Cabin / Stateroom

We went to Sea World and they let off the excursions and everyone else at the sametime! It was very difficult to get to the bus we needed since everyone as getting off at the same time.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

3 out of 5
Not impressed with first impression since it was the locals trying to push their items. Beach was very rock and hard on the little kids. We were told that every chair had an umbrella, that was far from the truth. No map of what was offered so, didn't know where to get a beverage. Only could find were to get lunch.

Nassau, Bahamas

Knew we didn't want to do anything here but, we got off the ship to walk around. Best spot was by the boat once you left cruise ship area you got ambushed by the locals.
