Review summary

I was expecting more on Royal Caribbean. Been on several Carnival and Norwegian cruises and decided to try Royal. We paid more for less in my opinion. Not even a courtesy bottle of water in my cabin or a pen to fill out room service menu! They won’t provide them anymore according to staff. The staff was truly great, all were friendly and accommodating, wanting to make sure we were taken care of and happy. Activities on the ship were very limited compared to other cruise lines. disappointed and will stick with Carnival and Norwegian.

MDR menu was almost the same every night. Chops was surprisingly mediocre. Had a better steak in the MDR. Giovanni’s was good but the eggplant parm was mushy.

Pools were small and crowded, slides and flow rider were fun.

Entertainment

Music was to loud. Others also complained. I’ve show was good but the musical show (name escapes me, that’s how memorable it was) was lame. Singers were ok and the dancing was out of sync.

The best thing about this ship. Ingram our Steward was awesome as was Rakesh and his assistant in the MDR were wonderful.
