Review summary

Recommended for those who like a personalised service experience and don't need all the facilities of the very big ships, this cruise was very satisfying and we look forward to cruising again on either this ship or another in its class.

Embarkation

The embarkation went very smoothly despite the challenges in San Juan getting to the cruise terminal because of a combination of rain and no traffic lights (due to the shortage of electrical power still after the hurricane).

The food in the main dining room was very good and the service exceptional. One of the best experiences we've had in recent years, the service was very personalised.

Outstanding service from the MDR Waiter, head Waiter and assistant Waiter. Stateroom attendant was also excellent and honourable mentions to the Concierge and next cruise staff.
