Review summary

This is our first cruise on Royal Caribbean (RC). We had a cruise a year ago on Carnival and this trip we had on RC does NOT compare. The service was great and we had a blast. Based on this experience we're planning trip on a RC cruise in Europe.

Highly recommend this cruise to anyone!

The room was small and wished we had a bigger room

Ship tip

First real experience of a RC cruise. It took awhile to get in the groove of the pampering. Once in the mode it was really fun! Highly recommend the drink package

We took this particular cruise because our daughter goes to Ross University veterinarian school. This gave us the opportunity to see the school and visit to see where our daughter lives. Doing a cruise would allow us to see the school for one day and NOT interrupt our daughter's studies

Of all the islands we visited Curacao was our favorite!

AOS is our absolute favorite! We've sailed NCL and Carnival too. Our second cruise on her was in September and she is still amazing. Yes, she needs some updates but considering how many passengers are carried every single week and the fact the ship is out in the salty ocean throughout the year the wear and tear isn't bad. Looking at a cruise again on her next year after the refit!!! Can't wait!!

I've sailed on RCCL, NCL and Carnival and enjoyed them all. I've never had a negative enough experience to say I would not sail with any of them again. I'm on a cruise what's not to love.

Adventure of the seas is my favourite ship. Been on her 7 times. Love her to bits. Can't wait to see the changes in the refit. Cindrelly we are on the same cruise on 15th April...can't come soon enough..
