Review summary

Royal Caribbean is our cruise line of choice; however, the food was not as good as other RCC cruises, waiter service in the dining room was good but not great and the shows were not as good.  Our room steward was wonderful and eager to get us anything we needed.

Adventure was fabulous. Just returned from a great week. You would never know she was heading in for refurbishment. She's in great shape. If you have my time dining- request Luis. You won't regret it!

Thinking about sailing on Adventure next June.  Doing my research.  So far the reviews are very positive.

Do stay away from the chicken cordon, that was only bad thing. Do breakfast in the mdr too and lunch at wind jammer. Don't forget room service is included and on Thursday, lobster...get as many as you want. Every night I had two aps and two entrees :-)

My wife and I found the food better than most. We met the head chef, Adventure is rated higher than any ship in the fleet for the main dining room. In July we had steak, lobster, shrimp, pastas, salads, chicken, duck, salmon, corvine, sea bass, escargot...dishes that would cost an arm and leg in the states. You will be treated like kings and queens too.

Bummer. It's our 10th anniversary, first real vacation since our honeymoon, and my husband's first cruise. We found out later that the ship is older and not like the others advertised. I think it'll be fine, but it's just a bummer to find out it's about to be updated, not already updated.
