Review summary

The Adventure of the Seas was NOT over crowded like all 6 others. There was lots of room around pools and in the clubs and bars. The cruise ship was full and lots of people and happenings going on but not so "busy crowded" like others that you felt crammed. This was very relaxing by day and lots of events during the evening in to the late night. There was activity in to the late hours keeping us busy until 2:00am every single night. The ship staff was great at getting cruisers involved in ALL events.  Down side was the theater shows. Great singers and dancers but far from a big production. Most performers were in black and grey attire, nothing colorful or exciting.  Most sets were just a black curtain with sparkling lights - only show that was great was the ice show getting 10 stars... all others were 5 stars or thumbs down, very disappointing. Food as usual was excellent with super great dining room services. Ports of call were absolutely breathtaking with lots to do. Information regarding islands were very helpful. Loving cruising with each holiday.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining experience is above and beyond expectations. Lots of variety

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Was expecting much more. So many talented singers and dancers but not much hoopla surrounding them. Stage sets were plain and boring.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Dining room service could not have been any better. All staff was extremely friendly.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very nice ship with lots of room. Clean and tidy surroundings on ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very spacious cabin located perfectly for everything. Easy to find all activities from this room.

Ship tip

On this ship you can relax most of the afternoon; go to dinner for 6:00 and then catch all events after dinner, having something fun and interesting to do in to the late night. Lots to chose from.

Ports of call

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
We thought the people of Puerto Rico were very nice people. They were willing to help with any questions. The shop keepers, bartenders and service people were all very accomadating to our needs.

Bridgetown, Barbados

3 out of 5
The people were not very helpful or friendly. Stick with the cruise excursions when venturing out.

St. John's, Antigua

5 out of 5
Dickenson Beach was absolutely beautiful. You will find everything needed there from water sports to relaxing lounger.
