A Great Christmas Cruise!

Sail Date: December 23, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was clean, brilliant and beautiful! All areas of the ship I found to be well maintained. They were always cleaning!! There was plenty of room on board for everyone (except by the pool on sea days). There were several arguments with staff about saving chairs. There was no way you could eat lunch together as a family as staff started pulling towels and belongings off chairs after only 20 minutes. Guests fighting with other guests for lounge chairs. They need to to come up wtih a better policy..... It got nasty!!!!

Pros: The Ship's Festivities for the Holiday

Cons: It Ended

Recommends Adventure of the Seas? Yes!

Oranjestad, Aruba
Took a cab to the beach. Best beach we have been to....Great places to eat on the beach (but expensive). VERY friendly people!

Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Took the excursion to Divi Bay Beach. Beautiful spot. However the tour guide never showed up to meet us there. They tried to charge us for chairs which were included in the excursion. BBQ lunch was good. Cab driver gave us all attitude for having wet suits. It was a BEACH excursion!!!

Curacao
We took the fun bus to a resort that was obviously still under construction. The "beach" consisted of small pebbles and no sand. A waste of our time and money. Should have stayed on the ship.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Took a cab to Red Hook and then a ferry to the island of St. John. Trunk Bay snorkeling was the best!! Beautiful beach. Very quaint island all decked out for Christmas.
Don't Miss: Snorkeing at Trunk Bay
