Review summary
Just returned (3-11-07) from a cruise on Royal Carribean's "Adventure of the Seas" and believe me, we enjoyed every minute of the cruise. The ship is gorgeous, roomy and easy to get around. The staff is most helpful and always available for assistance. Food in both the Windjammer Cafe (buffet) and our evening dinning (Vivaldi Dinning Room) was excellent. And the service...outstanding. Two nights we were entertained by the entire waitstaff after dinner and one night the youngsters came in to entertain as "pirates" for the after dinner entertainment. Royal Carribean is doing its best to protect all from illness as they are enforcing a strict hands cleansing as you enter each eating facility with anti-bacterial hand wash. Your are also required to do the same when you return to the ship from outside trips. As for the entertainment... I can't say enough. The shows, the cruise director, the Ice Show, etc. were all top quality and very entertaining. If you don't go to the shows, you've missed one of the best things.Ports of call
Pros: The cruise ship, the people, and the adventure
Cons: The beds in our stateroom
