Has anyone traveled with just birth certificate and ID? How was the process and did you bring extra documentation just incase?

Returning to the US, requires getting in the line to see an agent. Those with passports, can use the face scanners.

I travel with jus i.d & birth certificate and there’s never any problem

The first time I sailed after getting married I carried an original marriage certificate just in case bc my birth certificate says my maiden name. I still do carry it but they never ask. So basically I bring marriage certificate, original birth certificate and DL. Never had an issue and have done it multiple times since not renewing passport.
