Never had an issue taking standard size bottles onboard in cruise carry on. i think that's just an international flight issue these days. i am in AUS and cruise 7+ times a year.

NoTSA style rules for toiletries. If you want to carry on full sized products, you can as long as your mode of transport to the ship allows it. Personally, I prefer not to carry through the ship for the first 3-4 hours after embarking any heavy bags & check those with the pier side porters. Remember, in general, cabins do not open even for bag drop-off until 2-3 hours prior to sail away.
