South Pacific - Australia Cruise Reviews

Love the Solstice and Celebrity. This cruise was mainly for relaxing as it was in our "backyard" as such. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time and would put it up there in our top three cruises.... not just the sights but a lot to do with the company!

First cruise very good experience staff very friendly Crown Grill food was great

it was nice but we expected more from the solstice, better food, better menus and a much better buffet. we had defrosted cold cuts and cakes.

Very well planned route from Sydney around New Zealand. Sydney was a very positive start as itself. All onshore activities were well organized and interesting - ”the main purpose” of the trip. A ” once in lifetime” experience alltogether.

This was an interesting cruise--one that I had wanted for several years. I learned a lot about Australia and New Zealand and New Caledonia that we don't hear much about in the United States. Although our captain had to make decisions about health care and windy conditions, the alternatives were just fine. The ship conditions (food) were good.

Enjoyed myself was a good cruise to Queensland, to many Tender ports not nice when the wind and seas are up.

We had done these Ports before but had not been on this Ship before. We did enjoy the Cruise, however I would probably choose a different ship next time with more on board activities and maybe a younger demographic. My husband and I are in our early 50's and we had our 24 year old daughter with us.

I am 42 and was in the younger age category. The majority was 60 and way over. Also, a lot of ports say they have wi-fi but it is all password protected so it's hard to connect.

The crew and Captain know how to entertain their guests.

The ship is old and needs to be updated. Overall the ship was clean and the staff is great.

The queen Elizabeth is beautiful in every corner she has style and class in every aspect of design the crew were amazing and room was very comfortable

All excellent . Travelled with my mum (80’s) and this was a great cruise to go on from our NZ base and easy options for ports

It is a beautiful ship and if you are after a resort style holiday that's what you get. If you'd prefer the sounds and smells of the ocean I'd be looking at something else. I much preferred Voyager or Radiance.

I can’t think of a better way to holiday ever...the shows were unsurpassed and the food was amazing the cruise director Joff Eaton is without a doubt one of the best I just loved the whole experience...

As an introduction to cruising this cruise was fantastic and has convinced my husband to ask when is the next one. Well done.

Ovation is a lovely ship food was fantastic, ship kept amazingly clean, staff all lovely. Be sure you allow plenty of time to get off the ship on port days, we missed our bus(private company) at Wellington. Adults only solarium is a great place till relax but they need more of the lounges not enough to go round. Loved the north Star beautiful way to see NZ coast. The I-fly was fun definitely recommend just wish they would allow more than one go! Lifts can be really slow stairs can be quicker. Dodgem cars fun but the line ups can be huge.

The internet package is stupidly expensive!!! This cruise was for older people 55+
