Everything was top shelf from the food to the service. However, one person was truly outstanding for her service and dedication and that was MIA who was in charge of the tours. She went the extra mile for everyone always putting safety first. She also dealt with a few obnoxious Passengers in the most professional manner that I have ever witnessed. Viking tours is most fortunate to have an employee like her!

Overall we rate Viking, Crusiesonly, and Wendi Kaye top notch and together made our trip very enjoyable and fun.

Another great Viking cruise. The staff make sure every detail is taken care of so you can enjoy every minute of your trip.

The Ama Bordeaux cruise was ideal if you like wine and are interested in seeing the Bordeaux region. We did not do a wine themed/sponsored sailing and we were fine with that, as we wanted to drink the wine of the region. Others have mentioned, that this cruise does not do a lot of sailing, as the region is a smaller distance compared to other cruises. We were perfectly fine with this. We cannot say enough about the Ama team: Melissa our cruise manager, captain Tony, Rosaline our hotel manager, our bartender friends: Alex, Kameliya, and Paula (we love all of you), and everyone else doing amazing things: Chef Silviu, Maitre D Alex, Purser Deyan, Mihaela the 1st housekeeper and poor Erni our wellness host who probably didn't get as much business due to the rainy weather during our cruise. As typical with Ama there are several choices for port of call excursions and Ama does a great job helping you to fit in as much as possible. The Illuminations sail was also wonderful way to end the week. We really had so much fun. We added the post cruise in the Loire Valley and it was definitely worth it, as that is a beautiful region and we stayed in an amazing chateaux!

Overall ... great cruise ... excellent crew, staff, and director ... couldn't ask for anything else

Grand European River Cruise...from Budapest to Amsterdam...17 days...a perfect balance of river cruising, church and castle enrichment, fabulous food and drink tasting, and overall seeing the heart of Europe. Danube, Main, connecting canal, and the Rhine Rivers...all in one cruise. Highly Recommended!

Have been very pleased with the Viking experience, it's all about the destination. All tour guides are knowledgeable and provides lots of information. Food and restaurant staff are excellent! Enjoy the "smaller" feel of a river cruise.

Excellent cruise and a great way to spend time in a lot of cities in Germany. Viking really goes out of their way to ensure you have a great experience and worked to meet our expectations.

We enjoyed the river cruise experience and are hooked. It is very different than the ocean cruise experiences we have had in the past. Both are good, but different. We were happy with the low key, close up, relaxing experience. Met some really nice people and the Viking staff was so pleasant. We will return for sure.

Enjoyed the cruise and the 3 days in Prague before boarding the ship. The only criticism we have would be the size of our cabin. Would have upgraded if another cabin would have been available.

My cruise was not listed. Bucharest westbound to Budapest. Crew was excellent, sites were interesting from a historical perspective. The scenery along this section of the Danube is not spectacular. Some areas are struggling economically and is evident in the infrastructure.

Very friendly due to size of ship. Met fantastic and interesting people! Great ports of call. No complaints. Ama is great!!

A GOOD trip overall. The trip was scheduled as a 40th Anniversary celebration with another couple from the same town we live in. Airline reservation had us getting to Budapest via completely different routes and flights and arriving at different times instead of traveling together. (BAD) As a Captain of a major Airline for 40 years, I can promise I will NEVER fly on Air Canada Rouge again. They were 4 for 4 on TERRIBLE Service with the worst on the last flight. Rang the flight attendant call button 4 times, to get a cup of coffee and was finally meet with the statement from the flight attendant that "You can go to the back galley and get your own coffee". I was in row 14 of a Boeing 767-300. REALLY ?
