fabolous sailing by alatawnh

Ship: Royal Princess / Destination: Mexico

This was our first cruise and it was amazing in every way. At the same time, there is a problem with an unclear charge of $100 at the end. I would appreciate it if you would contact me to explain this. We tried to contact you without success. Thanks

Terrific Mexi cruise, wonderful ship, Celebrity Cruises- the best! by Liddygirl

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Solstice / Destination: Mexico

Rated 8 out of 10. Loved staying overnite In Cabo- the main reason I booked this trip. Wish there were more ovenites on Celebrity ( & in Mexico). Food, service, entertainment, comfort, cleanliness & overall luxury experience on Celebrity is a 10. Instead of visiting a Silver shop in Mazatlan, wish we cld have spent time visiting in the Golden one. Port time change (less time) in PV was a small disappointment. Overall- LOVE Celebrity & loved Mexico.

Taxing on the body stopping at 3 ports in a row, this very tiring. There was no time to recover between port of calls. by cannon4422

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Koningsdam / Destination: Mexico

It was less than what I was expecting but given I was anxious to have a getaway, it was a hasty decision. I did not find the entertainment to be up to par, the shows were not appealing to me and since I am not a game, trivia type person, this was totally uninteresting for me.

An all around great trip by fotowerks

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Koningsdam / Destination: Mexico

This is a great cruise with a good balance of both on shore and shipboard experiences. An excellent value. We would do it again. But there are many more places in the world that we have yet to visit so a repeat will have to wait.

Relaxing Mexican cruise by tracymom76

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Discovery Princess / Destination: Mexico

My first cruise experience with Princess has made me a lover of the cruise experience for life. I'm already looking to book another cruise next summer to Alaska and I will ONLY cruise on Princess. Besides the elevators always being busy mid-ship, no complaints overall. Top rated service and staff, and the Discovery was a beautiful ship. I will return without question!

BACK TO CRUISING by rs2517

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

Definitely would recommend and even go back to this itinerary. Seemed like a quarter of the folks we talked to were traveling on free trips provided by Carnival ... hoping to get one of those vouchers, but forgot to gamble - so maybe next time. Totally would like to spend more hours in the ports. Carnival's ship was beautiful, extremely clean, and comfortable.

A very nice cruise by gradybiggman

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

We asked for special service for our 50th anniversary (willing to pay), but nothing was provided. Guest Service and Room Service was very difficult to contact on the telephone. Many times I gave up after being on endless hold.

Perfect Cruise for 1st timers. by gonzagafan

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Radiance / Destination: Mexico

This was a perfect entry level cruise. The comedian - Eric Blake was great. The show production was disappointing, but mediocre at best. It was fun to have other entertainmnet too. We went around Christmas time so fun christmas carols etc. There is always something to do. The cabin is just fine. We opted for one with a nice large window. It was great. The two twin beds they pushed together to make a kind was another storey. They kept coming apart in the middle and made it very uncomfortable. Other than that, the rooms were nice and clean, bathrooms functional and worked great. Food was good too. You wont go hungry!!

Worse cruise ever by tiffs333

Worst trip I’ve ever had. My entire family caught Covid because there’s no social distancing or mask requirements. Terrible food, annoying entertainment.

NOT MY CUP OF TEA! by jcarrodine

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Radiance / Destination: Mexico

Boarding process was good. The rest was not so good. First off, we stayed on the first floor in the back of the ship. I HIGHLY recommend that you stay away from the first floor, especially in the back. We were on top of the engine room which was painfully loud. The noise was mostly noticeable in the early morning hours while trying to sleep. There was also a smell of exhaust while the ship was docked, which wasn’t pleasant. The icing on the cake was sewage backing up inside the bathroom. Wait, it gets better… They did move us to a different cabin right above the theater, which was even louder. There’s more…we had people outside of our cabin all night (adults and children) talking loudly, running up and down the hallways, knocking on doors ect. I guess respect for others is out the door in todays society, but that’s a whole another subject in itself. This cruise was a free for all from smoking pot to allowing kids inside of bars and the casino. What a disaster! Service and food were good. Ship size for the amount of people was a little cramped. We had an inside cabin which was a little cramped as well. Disembarkation process was not good and seemed very unorganized. It was the same for Catalina Island. This will be our last cruise with Carnival Cruise Lines for sure. Always keep in mind that you get what you pay for. Note to self.
