Graceful, educational and fun! by ricardobonnick

Our cabin was inviting and comfortable! They’re up to date on technology and that’s was great for us. The crew and staff exemplified good customer service, we are greatful for that.

Overall, ok. Wish we had more time at the stops to fully appreciate the islands. I didn’t care for Kotor.

Very mixed feelings about this Western Mediterranean Cruise by blairb8

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seaview / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

We belatedly discovered the great cruise rate we paid was a hook to get people on board the ship. Be prepared to be nickel and dimed to death!!

Enjoyable and exhilarating cruise by venky

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Spirit / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

Courteous, professional and helpful staff made passengers feel safe and welcome. Sailing was smooth even on a couple of windy days. Clean and well-equipped cabin -- even for a simple stateroom. Announcements (on TV channel, the daily news bulletin FreeSyleDaily, during the shows, and over the PA system) were prompt, accurate and crisp. Restaurants were good. It would be good to improve the variety of vegetarian menu items (beyond simply pasta). Buffet was of acceptable quality although it was quite busy at times. Many of the daily evening shows were of good quality and entertaining. The two shore excursions we took were superb -- prompt, well-organized, and featuring good guides -- albeit a bit pricey. Overall, it was a great experience for both of us. Photos by Alamelu, iReport

Great cruise but tiring by BoulderCruisers

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Spirit / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

This was a spectacular cruise but because there were basically no sea days it was a bit exhausting. Being in port each day and not wanting to miss anything meant no down time. We would love to see this cruise add 1 sea day in the middle to recourperate. On the flip side, wouldn’t have missed it for anything.

Med Cruise in Nov. Best time to go! by djjanak

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Overall, It was a great experience. I highly recommend this cruise. November was an excellent time to take this too. The temps were cool and comfortable. The tourists were few, and crowds smaller at the must see locations. Just do it!

Trip of a lifetime! by danjonmike3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

The itinerary brought me on this cruise. I was not disappointed. But having been on many Celebrity cruises, this cruise and ship did not seem to provide the entertainment or on board activities for at sea days that I expected.

Amazing Gibraltar and Canary Islands adventure by zagato1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Explorer / Destination: Europe - Western Europe

This was our third trip on Explorer and it was every bit as good as the others. The food, service and staff make sure nothing is missed in making your experience special. The staff make an effort to know you and the smaller ship allows you to meet other guests too. We will definitely be back.

Venice visit.. bucket list CHECK! by joendoodle190

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Star / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

Food and service were great. The STAR is not a mega size (like the Breakaway class) such that getting on and off at the various ports is efficient.

Incredible Honeymoon Experience by talyb

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Great selection! The offer to buy the beverage package was well worth it. The ship had so many activities available that it was hard to chose what to do! Also the dining, amazing menu on all restaurants. The staff was amazing as well.

Mediteranian experience by jhackman1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Star / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

Our shore experiences were great. Sorry we missed Kotor. NCL is ok but not my favorite. I feel they miss some of the small details that other cruise lines do better. Example - Pool towels are in your room but we had to take them off the cart since they were never left in our room. If you want room service it costs you money!

Most disappointing cruise ever. by katrinadrew69

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Costa Deliziosa / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Extremely disappointed. They changed itinerary under the pretence of dangerous weather however, I not anyone else we meet could find any weather report to support the claim. Additional passengers got on ship the d day after we were suppose to set sail. We were credited 100 Euros for our disappointment. Really!! We traveled further than most passengers. Ruined honeymoon. Costa never again. Untrust worthy company.

Missed the two best ports due to weather; the ship is too small and lacks variety in food, entertainment, decks, excursions....disappointing for a high end cruise. The staff however was amazing and unparalleled in service. by dslglfpt

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Pursuit / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

38th anniversary cruise was so disappointing although the bad weather- flooding and 90 mph winds when we reached Livorno was not the ship's fault. I think Azamara could have done more to substitute/compensate than require you to book another cruise. The ship is too small for us; too little variety; too sedentary. But lovely staff and you are treated well. The special events are great and the food then is also. Otherwise not worth it.

Pleasant cruise despite some cloudy days with occasional showers in Split and Kotor.
