Get rid of Blue Man Group. Get local entertainmment. Move Spanish Dancers to better location. You can only see their heads if you aren't in the first couple of rows.

Nice Cruise by MableL

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)

Overall good cruise. Need to work on selection of good food other than restaurants that charge extra. Need to improve quality of entertainment. Blue Man Group is terrible. Howl at the Moon is very good. Spanish Dancers are good but don't have adequate area to perform in.

Great Cruise by MableL

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Overall a great cruise. It would be better if ship stayed in Rome 2 days. Not long enough to see Rome. Very nice ship. Onboard entertainment should be improved. The Blue Man Group is terrible. Only person in our group that liked it was the 11 year old. Other 3 kids didn't even like it. More local entertainment would be better.

NCL Epic beats all expectations by DavidM21

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Very impressive structure. I have been on many other cruises and was skeptical of the ships size and number of passengers. It was easy to get around the ship. Elevators were always available and fast unlike many other smaller older ships. Great entertainment venues abound.

A great cruise by ChrisD10

We recently sailed on the Norwegian Epic. We really liked the freestyle cruising. The Blue man group show was great. Our son had a great time in pool and water slides. The shore excursions were great but very tiring. We found ourselves wishing for an At Sea Day to rest. Our stateroom was great with a very nice layout with the sink and shower separate. Lots of hidden storage spaces made it easy to unpack and fell like there was a place for everything. Overall we have to say the ship was really impressive, the staff was wonderful as always.

Very nice cruise! by EvaK

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

It is a very lovely ship. It,s easy to find anything. We loved the Main dining room the most! Very elegant! The food was average. The adult pool area is pleasant but the pool should be heated. The jacuzzis very too hot, the pool was mostly cold. They should have a good balance between the 2 to be able to enjoy them. We really liked the salt water in the pool.

Go on Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas by MichaelQ

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

There are better options. The food was not very good and extremely repetitive. The my time dining is a joke because there's always a wait to eat in the main dining hall. They charge you for alot of things they shouldn't such as bowling, ice bar, and coffees. The 2 pools are pittifully small. While there are a few hot tubs, they're all overcrowded. The ports they took us to were no where near where we wanted to be. For example, Rome which is near the water was a 2 hour drive from wherever we docked. There is a first class area for people who book suites that is not open to anyone else on the boat (thus I never even saw it), but it's a steep upgrade in price. Standard room with a balcony was so tiny. All in all, there are better options.

a very old ship by SuzanneB3

the fact that this ship is one of the older ones in the fleet wasn't the problem....it was the painfully outdated decor! my jr. suite cabin was solid walls of pink laminate, decorated to look like oak wood grain. if you closed your eyes and remembered kitchens of the sixties, you would have that painful image exactly! the rest of it reminded me of old las vegas before those old hotels were torn down. the staff was great, i met many delightful passengers and all in all i was glad i went.

Good cruise but lots of surprises.... by JeffR5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Great ship, lot of things to. The order f the ports of call were changed and we were not notified until already on board. One of the tours, Turkish Bath Experience, is horrible, don't waste your money. The rice for this cruise decreased about 2 weeks before sailing date, Royal did not honor a lower price guarantee. Some people aid less than 500 USD for rooms with a view. As a Gold Member I was not even upgraded for free having paid full price. Upgrade was offered paying more, of course!

The Most Unbelievable Trip of My Life! by LoisL

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Solstice / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The efficiency of the daily operations of the ship were impressive. My daughter and I couldn't believe how smooth every event went considering there were 3000 clients on board. We absolutely loved our nightly waiters and stateroom attendants as well as the trainers in the gym. After a long day at a port we were so happy to get back on board the Solstice. The employees made us feel like we were at home and their friendliness was genuine. I loved all the hygienic and safety concerns and am totally sold on cruising and do not think I will do any major travel any other way!

Our Cruise by IraW

Layout of the ship is not that good. Fair quality of the food and the limited number of choices on the dinner menus in the two non-supplemental payment restaurants. We concluded that the reason why that was the case was due to the fact that NCL makes more money if more of its passengers pay extra for the specialty restaurants.

It was a nice ship but there were so many staterooms, the common areas seemed limited.

Outstanding cruise by JoyM1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

The ship was beautifully laid out. I loved the promenade. The only thing I did not like was having to go through the casino to get to quite a few destinations including our room. The casino was filled with smoke. Cleanliness was noted and good.

Old ship, average food, short stops by SergioM

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Armonia / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The ship was a bit outdated, good size, good amenities. The crew was friendly, except for the excursions crew who were unable to provide a rational explanation on why an excursion couldn't be cancelled
