Beautiful ship in excellent condition

This was my second Oceania cruise ... and I was not disappointed. Being part of the Inaugural cruise year for the Riviera, everything was fresh and new on board. Staff consistently positive and attentive. Cruising later in the year (Oct-Nov) presented weather challenges in the Med and Adriatic seas. Decisions were made correctly by the Captain not to dock or tender because of rough waters, and the ship staff rallied immediately with worthwhile alternative choices. Enjoying the first ship to offer cooking at sea classes was totally fun and informative (and delicious)! Evening theater events that I did attend were entertaining. Alternative dining was wonderful, and each venue offered delicious fare. I won't hesitate to cruise with them again in the future when interesting itineraries and my schedule meet!

The Nautica is a beautiful ship. The smaller size made it easy to get around and to disembark for shore excursions each morning. Our Penthouse Suite was spacious and very comfortable for two people. It had the feel of staying at a luxury hotel. The bed and linens were luxurious and very comfortable. We enjoyed the welcome canapes and champagne waiting for us upon arrival. We had breakfast delivered on-time to our room each morning by our butler Andy and enjoyed the variety of in-suite afternoon canapes. We dined at all of the ship's restaurants and found the food to be very good, except for the pizza on the buffet. The Waves Grill on the pool deck was great, especially the Surf and Turf Burger which was filet mignon topped with lobster on a bun. The food and service at the Polo Grill Steakhouse was excellent. All of the cruise staff were friendly and welcoming. The cruise staff worked very hard to keep guests happy even through the bad weather day. Overall, we had a wonderful first-time experience cruising with Oceania Cruises.

Beautiful ship that is well-planned so you don't experience crowds on a 4000 passenger ship, though it wass only half-full for this crossing. We miss the mid-ship stairwell, but we do enjoy walking so the extra steps aren't a problem for us.

It was amazing trip and we are looking forward to come back again.

The ship was awesome from the elevators (glass) to all the multi functionl rooms and pools.

The shore excursion partners that Royal Caribbean has tied up with are awesome, and the cruise itself was flawless for the most part - Stateroom attendants and restaurant waiters are extremely attentive, and friendly. The food, drink options were awesome, and amenities were excellent. Improvement recommendations would be to consider a lower cost internet connectivity for people onboard that need just basic email access (very low bandwidth) and longer gym hours.

The ship is beautiful and most of the decor was top of the line.

This was my first cruise and it exceeded my expectations. I really did not want to go and was looking for excuses to use to bow out. I'm glad I didn't find one.

Ship is fine though the fact that they allow smoking is sickening to me. Most crew are super to deal with. Pretty boat with luxury accommodations.

The food was good however our server was not very friendly. I found at the open sitting for breakfast and lunch they were not very friendly either. The wait staff did not seem very happy.

Balcony staterooms had been remodeled and were very comfortable. As always the ship was very clean, staff exceptional and food plentyful. We did three evenings in the specialty restaurants and found them all to be amazing. Fabulous food of 5 star quality and service!!! Fabulous ports to visit and as always entry and exit to the ship were very organized as well as exit and entry to each port. RC always handles the details with exceptional quality. I highly recommend you travel RC:-)

This cruise was one of the best we have been on. The ship was smaller than some we have been on but was great. The Port of calls and tours were perfect for us. Was glad we was in Venice for 2 days, perfect. I had a health problem but the ship medical was great. Would recommend this trip for everyone. Loved it.

Staff behaved as if you were in the way, and for the most part, didn't seem to care about customer service. There was smoking allowed across almost the entire ship, so it was hard to get a breath of fresh air. Very little pool space considering the number of passengers.

Very good ship services. The cities we visited are very good. we really enjoyed our trip. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed the ship. The food and shows were great. The crew was wonderful.

Ship is brand new so in excellent condition. Food quality was average. Drink prices were a bit high and drink staff, bartenders and drink takers, were less than friendly. Great ports of call and a great time overall. Personally I liked the Holland American ship and crew better from a previous cruise.

Great, very clean, good and friendly staff, great pool party enjoyed that the most, entertainment was outstanding as well
