NCL knew that they had not docked at the second Iceland port all year. They should not have advertised this as a port. Two ports canceled on the original itinerary will keep us from booking with them again

Definitely would do this itinerary again but maybe on a different ship with more attention to Entertainment. Also the internet was the worst we’ve had on any ship.

The ports in general were poor. Small towns with nothing to do. Looked forward to Norway but felt missed a good experience. When compared armed with Vikings choice of ports, Oceania missed the boat

boring and uneventful. There is not much to see in these ports and most towns are closed on Sunday. Excursions are over priced and not economical for a family. Food was good but not great. Would rather fly in and rent a car to drive.

This was a fantastic trip! Norway is beautiful and the ship and it's crew could not have been better - always willing to help. The weather was ok - some rain, some sun and some rough seas but it made the trip that much more exciting - navigating the stops with inclement weather and talking to the locals while doing so. The fjords are everything everyone says they are - there is nothing like it.

Overall the cruise was GREAT! We had a relaxing time and the weather was very cooperative. Everywhere we went everyone was friendly and helpful. The views are amazing!

We didn't know what to expect and were overwhelmed with the beauty of Norway and the excellent service of the staff of Holland American Neuw Statendaam

Northern Isles cruise is wonderful! Such unusual and beautiful things to see. Holland America does a very good job.

Overcrowded, cigarette smoke everywhere, poor coordination and communication of information to guests. Cafeterias were constantly overcrowded with massive lines that would take at least half an hour to sit through, usually longer. Sit-down restaurant service was inexcusably slow, once taking over an hour to get our first dish. Food was usually acceptable at best, but getting fed was an issue with the long lines. The smoking areas were not enforced, so guests would smoke directly outside the doors to outside, smoking up the ship's hallways. If you're an American, don't go on this cruise. You cannot access the 'Costa app' in the US because it doesn't meet regular app regulations. This makes getting basic information and reservations difficult. We had massages reserved but got sick on the ship and had to cancel them - they still made us pay. Worst cruise experience ever - never Costa again.

The cruise itself was good. Ship was very nice and clean, Captain's narration was the most interesting of all the cruises I have ever taken, he would explain one key word every day... educating about the unit of KNOT or about the different aspects of ship transportation. As always, service was wonderful, cabin boys and dining room stewards were perfect and very accomodating. It is the HAL's web site as well as the app that REALLY NEEDS A SERIOUS WORK in order to make it usable. We bookef the Flåm railroad trip for $66 directly with the railroad. Ship would have charged us $200.

This could make a great addition to your bucket list if it isn't on there already. The scenery is spectacular and the hospitality on the ship is wonderful.

No complaints - Azamara cruise staff was amazing and super to us. With no other cruise to compare it's hard to say anything but glowing comments. We were pleasantly surprised by the level of service and kindness from all the staff. We had a really poor experience with the website as they were in transition. Lack of response, inability to make any adjustments to our reservation etc. We were so happy that the issues with the website did not mean that we would have issues on the cruise.

Iceland and Norway are great places to visit, at least once in a lifetime, but do it on some cruise line other than NCL! The hot springs and waterfalls are numerous and many are spectacular. Each of the small towns are unique and interesting. The larger cities have some very interesting sites to see, both in the city and in their surrounding areas.

I booked this cruise to experience the midnight sun and to go to Longyearbyen ( the farthest north I could cruise). The other ports were not important to me (although my other reason in booking this cruise was to go to Greenland, which was cancelled. That was extremely disappointing.)

It was an interesting experience to visit Greenland and the Faroe Islands. Sweden was a country that we have not visited before, and we believe this aspect enhanced our experience. Overall, Oceania seemed to be a better overall experience prior to the pandemic.

Unfortunately I had an attack of sciatica and could not get off the ship. However, Staff brought me ice to fill ice bags and cared for my needs so it was still a good cruise.

Great ports on a beautiful ship. Would probably take it again

The cruise was a great experience overall, with the only serious aggravation being flying through Reykjavik's Keflavik airport. It was a nightmare of people in an airport that was designed to handle about a quarter of the travelers it gets. Security was over the top, and they do not recognize Global Entry, so be prepared to take everything out of your bags, pockets, belts, etc., and show your passport and be questioned at least four to five times.

It was an enjoyable cruise that I was able to share with friends and family. As indicated above, the venues appeared to be designed for intimacy but seemed contradictory for the number of people. Lastly, I will most likely be detered from taking cruised during school vacations. There seemed to be an excess of children of all ages.
