Too many good ports in a short time and too many bad ones at the same time. People want to go to the good ones. Venice, Naples, Greece, Sicily, Rome. Not three Croatia nothing stops that was a waste of time. Definitely one at Croatia would be good, just one. More time in getting and verifying good excursions to the good points. Especially in the more prominent sought after ports like Rome. In general a very nice expensive vacation should not be as stressful as it is. More info and simpler instructions to get where you need to go. Not chaos and stress.

Great cruise with plenty of ports by SanDiegoFun

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Explorer of the Seas

This cruise is port intensive. A great ship to be on as staff was wonderful and met all needs. Only drawback is if you do things on your own avoid the ship transportation even though it is easier. They do not give you enough time at Pompeii and other sites.

Great cruise, great ship, great service but sad to not have missed two ports by wzriches

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchanted Princess

There is absolutely no question that the accommodation and facilities on board the cruise were amazing. However, it was a bit of a shock missing three points in a row. I now know that it's better to book excursions while on the cruise itself, and if you do want to book in advance, it's better to do it through the cruise line since they'll refund the excursion automatically if they can't dock at the port. Despite everything, though, it was great not having to cook, clean, shop for groceries etc, and I do think there will be more Princess Cruises in our future!

The ship was exactly what we wanted! Excursions are demanding even if they say moderate! Lots of walking, stairs, uneven surfaces! by paula79677925

Loved Viking size ship! Just a lot of time on buses ! Ravenna port needs to be changed if Venice excursions to be offered!

Wonderful Mediterranean Cruise by terry3474

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Beyond

This cruise itinerary was busy with a different port almost every day. The Celebrity Beyond is beautiful and entertainment was exceptional. The cruise was booked through Cruise.com and we had the most professional and knowledgeable cruise expert, Luke Gonzalez, handle our reservation who stayed in constant contact with us to make sure all questions and concerns for the cruise were overseen.

Great ship and Port experience by JaxwellSmart

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Beyond

Stunning ship and food. Love the crew. Could fine tune day activities to be more interactive. Current focus seems to be on “up sells” for jewellery and art. Specialty dining overpriced. Price of drinks on board have become more expensive than the classic drink package so expect to pay $1-3 more per unit than the classic package used to cover. In house laundry is expensive and no other options available. No irons allowed.

The trip was fine. The ship was one of the older models so it dis not have a lot to offer other than the standard cruise ship. The crew though was exceptional and made the trip much better. by mirelisc

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

I would love to cruise with the crew again but the main Royal Caribbean office made the trip seem unfriendly. They changed two porta on us that were worse than the original so we had to book a 3 hr shuttle to our new embarkation port. However they did not have enough buses and we got stuck for 3 hrs in the middle of nowhere with no info on if we were even going to make it to the ship. When we complained with guest services all they offered was a tour of the ship which was ridiculous. We missed a whole port of call because of them and no refund or other options were offered. It was the worst start to our trip. The ship was old and clearly needed to be refurbished and not alot of amenities but I was fine with that. The food was okay and I have had better on other RC cruises as well as cruises with other companies. The crew however were exceptional all around. I wish I could recommend this more as I highly regarded RC has a great cruise company but clearly things have changed since COVID and it shows. I will try my luck with other companies in the future as this was just okay.

Never Again With NCL by jbswainnp

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Norwegian Epic

I chose this cruise because the ports were amazing. I knew in advance the ship was homely, I was shocked at how poor of shape this ship actually was. I still had hope because of all the wonderful things I had heard of the NCL food. I was misled there, also. The food was terrible, and I'm not a "foodie". It was my first and last time on NCL. There are way too many wonderful cruise line options to ever chance this company again.

This cruise line is the best by chang0131

Thank all of your crews. We really enjoy this trip so much. Obviously we will choose your ship again for our next time cruise. Compared with Royal Caribbean. Carnival, you are the best

The Mystery Cruise by cdrrachelle

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Voyager

Regent handled the disruption as best they could. I am glad we chose to take the air through Regent as everything was changed at the last minute to get us into the alternate departure port of Istanbul a day earlier that initially planned, and put us up a a very nice hotel. we were initially not happy with our cabin, which was a mistate of booking on my part. However, I asked at the front desk about getting another cabin or getting a larger cabin. He was busy the first day and sid I would not know anything until the next day. He never got back to me.

Very nice cruise overall. Crown Grill accommodated our last minute reservation and is our favorite specialty dining venue.

This is a very port-intensive itinerary and can be pretty tiring but it every stop had something unique to offer and was well worth it.

Excellent ship, excellent itinerary by CruisingNanaOf3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Norwegian Viva

Overall it was very good. The only bad experience I had was after debarkation on the shore excursion that took us to the Venice Airport. The bus parking lot is far from the terminal and there a few but totally useless Norwegian employees to assist with questions and/or directions. In addition, there were a number of older travelers that had to lug their luggage from the bus parking lot all he way to the terminal with no help from anyone. At least, a few baggage carts should have been provided for these individuals.
