Cruiseline is a cut above by nannyp13

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Celebrity Silhouette / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

This was by far the best cruise, on the best cruiseline we have ever taken. This is our 10th cruise and the first with celebrity. We won't be cruising anyone but celebrity from now on.

Great food. Great service. Wish they had designed the ship a little differently.

Cruise was nice by gebell

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

The ship was very nice. The personnel on the cruise from registration to end was very good. The entertainment was ok and guest entertaintment was great (juggler, singers, violinist and BMX). The kids had a run of the ship and were constantly running up and down stateroom hallways and up and down stairwells. The policy for deck chairs at pool were not withheld and could never find a spot to layout. Food was good but sometimes not keep warm enough. Waiter staff and room steward were excellent. Some of their excursions could have been better as not enough time for free time even though took almost all the walking tours (especially in Portugal)

Was a the perfect size and had all the amenities, great gym, easy to get around with a 94 year old mother-in-law and two grandchildren 5 and 10. It was well maintained and the staff were very helpful.

Great people, but still some kinks by drincisor2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Sunshine / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

The ship is truly grand, but there are a laundry list of items that are still needing to be fixed. There are leaks randomly (my daughter and son had one in their room). The sewer smell occurs randomly as well, mainly in the halls. The buffet food was acceptable, but the dining room food was much more pleasing. The only food that was open 24/7 was the deli and the pizzas. I would have wanted the burgers and tacos to be open 24/7 too. The buffet food would be great that would be open all day, but it closes right after lunch (around 2 to 3 pm) and that is it until dinner which lasts until 9 pm. Then you are dependant on pizzas, deli sandwiches (which serve hot dogs too), and the limited room service.

Travel Woes by Berty8473922

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Mariner / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Regent handled the flight reservations as their cruises are all inclusive. Our initial flight was cancelled and when we contacted Regent they said we were on our own even thought Regent had made all of the arrangements. It then took us 26 hours to get to Venice and we arrived in Venice just in time to make the ship (we had paid $700 more to get there a day early and stay at the Excelsior Hotel-to date no agreement from Regent to refund). When we were departing from Athens, we found that our flight reservations had been cancelled. Very Poor performance and customer service from a company that claims to stree just that. We would be hard-pressed to utilize them again! We unfortunately encountered numerous people on the ship that had similar experiences.

I loved the cruise! by swilson6

I would certainly do another cruise and I would certainly book another with Royal Caribbean. The service, the ship, the passengers, and the destinations were excellent.

Outstanding by t2sdk1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

The ship was nicely decored. The layout was nice and the amenities were good. The crew and staff were surperb. They made you feel very welcomed. Two concerns are that the library was an open area and children would come in very loud and disruptive and the other concern is that in the buffet restaurant the breakfast was pretty much the same everyday. But, for a ship this size, the crowds were managed very well.

Small, intimate, but you are not forced to socialize when you just want to chill. Never a line for anything. Knowledgeble, gracious staff.

Over all a good experience by slcarter

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Norwegian Jade / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

The overall crew was wonderful by the 3rd day they remembered our daughters name and where so helpful. The cabin was inside with a window and was a good size the room was kept up multiple times every day although we didn't request it to be. I recommend looking into sure excursions on your own or once you get to the location the ones provided by the actual cruise line are over expensive and in some cases we found the local transportation cheaper. other than those minor things it was a good experience.

Great Cruise by rlitteaur

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Splendour of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

It is an older ship. It was recently remodeled, but it is hard to tell. The personal on board were all nice, but the food was not as good as a recent Carnival cruise I was on.

Perfect way to travel! by emelgin5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

This was our first cruise, and now our favorite vacation ever. We usually go to Hawaii every year, so this was a wonderful change of pace for us. The Navigator is well designed, clean and comfortable. Every attendant we saw always greeted us with a smile and a nod or a hello. The food/room service was wonderful. Every detail was handled, the food was wonderful, there was room at every event/show. The customer desk allowed us to switch a shore excursion at the last minute, and was very helpful.

Celebrity Reflection was Fantastic by fjpj2000

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Reflection / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

The ship was luxurious, clean, excellent service from the staff, especially from the Blue restaurant. The Spa was refreshing and rejuvenating. Our side visit to Rome was amazing and one of the best places in the world to visit. Only comment was there was up-selling on the ship constantly which became annoying by the end of the 11 day cruise.

Really lovely cruise by saraderousse

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)

I haven't cruised in 20 years and was very pleasantly surprised. The ship was clean, the mini-suites were very large with great balconies and the food was very good. The kids club and pools were very crowded but everything else was wonderful. We didn't want to leave.
