"Cruising with Norwegian" by DonnaL4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Norwegian Dawn / Destination: Cruise to Nowhere

My sister and I recently sailed on the Norwegian Spirit and now we sailed on the Norweigian Dawn for a two day overnight cruise. We were impressed with the ambiance of both ships, this was our first time sailing with Norwegian cruise line especially within the same month.

I loved my balcony suite room.. the casino was very small and hot and stuffy... the food was great.. I was not thrilled about the duty free shops...It was not like the other ships i have been on they were very small

An experience by MarinaB

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Spirit / Destination: Cruise to Nowhere

Overall it was a nice experience. You should only work on sombody being around to either show or at least tell people where the rooms are, instead of having people start off the trip on a sour note

Terrific Value on Overnight Cruise by RenaM

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Norwegian Pearl / Destination: Cruise to Nowhere

Overnight cruise from Seattle to Vancouver, B.C. on the beautiful Norwegian Pearl. We weren't sure if all the restaurants would be available for such a short cruise, but we had all the amenities - including a wonderful musical and some casino play after midnight. The ship is gorgeous, staff was courteous, food was plentiful and good quality. Unfortunately the disembarkation process was horrible - passengers were required to carry all their belongings through the steep stairs of the theater while ONE overworked employee handed out transfer tickets for the bus ride back to Seattle. It was unbelievably disorganized, and difficult for the older passengers to haul suitcases. Another long line and wait to board the bus and a 3.5 hour wait at the border crossing. That aside it was a great value and we had a memorable cruise.

What a disappointment!!! by K5

Sail date: / Traveled as:
Ship: Norwegian Spirit / Destination: Cruise to Nowhere

Breezing through the terminal we thought wow this is great. As you enter the ship you are sprayed with hand sanitizer and my first thought was at least they are concerned with germs and cleanliness. HA HA what a joke!! Our room was dirty yes the maid cleaned it but never noticed the blood stained bed spread. How gross is that!!!! When we asked for 2 extra towels we were told they weren't suppose to give out 2 so we received 1 extra towel. The food was a HUGE disappointment being our 3rd cruise we were expecting to gain 5 pounds in one day. Well I can say this is the first time I lost weight on a cruise. The "24" hour Blue Lagoon was a joke the food was lousy even the food at Cagneys Steak House was NOT worth the extra 20 per person. I will admit I did enjoyed the Filet Mignon but that was it. The Creme Brulee was like jello pudding and the lobster bisque was like Cambels soup. As for the staff they should spend more time cleaning and less time attacking you with drink requests. We spent 2 hours at the craps table and not once did they clean the empty drinks the 95 times they came to ask if we wanted a drink. This was my 3rd cruise line and I can say I will NEVER cruise NCL again!!

It was great by PattyS5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Liberty of the Seas / Destination: Cruise to Nowhere

The ship was so big, but that means there was so much to do! I was on during the inaugural season and there were quite a few kinks to be worked out. The decoration was beautiful, art was great. Entertainment was a little cheasey, but the ice shows are not to be missed. The food was wonderful and if you have a waiter names Merik, you will be in good hands!

second time on the Crown by StewartH4307437

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Crown Princess / Destination: Cruise to Nowhere

Ship is very nice and for a large ship very easy to get arround. There were lots of pools, but lounges arround the pool were hare to get unless you got up early. If you did not want or need a lounge chair near a pool there were lots to be had.

An excellent cruise by MarielleB

Ship: Norwegian Pearl / Destination: Cruise to Nowhere

We sailed on the new NCL ship the Noregain Pearl and it was outrageous. I have gone on a few cruises, normally on Royal Caribbean ships and eventhough I think their cruise are wonderful I had never seen a ship like this. This has been the most spectacular ship I have seen. THe minute you get on board you feel like true royalty. The service was great, the food was good. Unfortunately we only went on a 1 day cruise and it really left you wanting more. I would definitely cruise onboard again.

Awsome ship!! by Jodik

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Norwegian Pearl / Destination: Cruise to Nowhere

This is an awsome ship. We went on the one day cruise and got to stay in the Garden villa. This was a spectacular room. Three bedrooms,31/2 baths, large private deck with a sauna and hot tub. Staying in these suites you are treated so well. You have a butler, they will cater to your every need and want. You hve access to a private pool area as well as reserved seating for the shows. Dinner was good- being a new ship and 1 night cruise I feel this area will improve. Can't wait to sail on her again in June to Alaska this time in the courtyard villa.

A nice time by JudyG9

Beautiful ship -- nice decor overall. The one thing I didn't like were the screens set up in the hallways and lounges providing dining information, etc. But that's me -- I'm an old time cruiser!

A fabulous cruise by DeniseB23

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Norwegian Pearl / Destination: Cruise to Nowhere

We sailed on NCL new ship Pearl for one night to preview it for a longer cruise later this year, we can't wait! It was a wonderful experience! We are veteran cruisers (4) and this ship rates very high on our list. It also helps that there was lots of storage space, and a spacious bathroom with a tub and shower. There are also many activities to satisfy teenagers, (very important). The variety of restaurant choices was excellent and the food was great, the staff was very accomodating.

One-Night to bask in the Norwegian Dream by SherryM1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Norwegian Pearl / Destination: Cruise to Nowhere

The ship is a great combination of fun with the elegance of cruising. I really enjoyed the one night to get to see the ship, I highly recomment this for anyone that is not sure about a cruise. First, they must understand everything is not always this hectic. The room was very nice, but I did not like the closet placement next to the bed. Bathroom was amazing layout for a cruise ship. Very up beat color scheme ... Loved the ship will sail it again!
