This is a good cruise for a quick getaway. It's one of RCL midsize ships. Not the biggest or newest but it has been maintained pretty well.

All in all the cruise with Royal Caribbean was great. We are loyal to Royal! The food, drinks and entertainment were great. The sports deck and instructors were helpful, especially Mikola at the flowrider! The views from the ship and our balcony were beautiful. We enjoyed coffee from Starbucks every morning on our balcony before going to breakfast. Aqua 80 show was amazing! Well done!

It was a great trip. Loved watching fireworks from our on verandah!

Itinerary and length of cruise excellent. Services on Costa Pacífica and “buffet concept” as well as variety and quality of food outside main restaurant disappointing for a luxury cruise ship. Only one variety of cheapest cheese, every day same 2 cold cuts, only one sort of rye bread. Impression is that client should be forced to pay for quality extra with many things available only at extra cost. Even water only free during buffets. With this concept Costa is not competitive with most other cruise lines.

We just bookes Costa, because we could going by car to/from La Romana. The cruise was ok, but nothing really great. We enjoyed our holidays, but we like other cruise companies better.

Looking to book another Holland cruise asap! Great experience with this cruise line. Didn't realize it was an older average cruiser but so glad it was! Loved it and made some new friends.

We were assigned a room and then reassigned at the last minute (although it was an upgrade, thanks) we had to wait in the mile long guest services to do so. Holland needs to update their check in services/app. A simple notification that our room had changed would have sufficed. The only cruise "fun" was the BB King Live Band...but no karaoke? No other entertainment by the pool (hoola hoop, music host w/ games etc.) More daily entertainment! However, if you are looking to just rest and relax, it may be the perfect cruise for you! The same food every day almost. Lack of servers so extremely long wait times for simple things like ice cream. One day I waited 30 minutes for ground beef for tacos. Dinner times aren't scheduled, and selected dinners are an additional fee. Pizza ends at 11:30pm instead of 24 or at least 2am/3am like other cruises.

Need more Asian food, given that so many want to try different things

We really enjoyed ourselves. There is something for everyone on the ship, and the excursions were well-run and enjoyable. The staff was great, and we had a wonderful time.

We had a nice time on this ship. Its older and we heard of some toilets not working and water on the rooms floor. We did not experience any issues however. Great crew and bar service.

This was our 6th cruise but first on HA. They had to be short staffed or something. However, if it weren't for good experiences in port, it would have been a pretty miserable vacation. I am not looking forward to cruising again for a long time.

I prefer the newer celebrity ships. They need to change the music it is the same dated music from the 90’s also for a cruiser who frequently sails the games and trivia never change too repetitive.

Excellent cruise, food, and service . I definitely coming back!

This was the worst cruise I’ve been on across the board. This was my second time on Holland but my 16th cruise overall but my last on Holland. This cruise did not even compare to my first experience with them. The boat is old and should be retired. Water leaks all over the boat, no working Air conditioning in majority of the cabins on board, worst menus and food I’ve been served ever and such few staff that they are so overworked you can see it on their faces. They were cancelling events probably to conserve energy. Meals in the MDR were taking 1 1/2-2hrs just to get your main course. Hardly any activities and you never saw or heard from the cruise director. No communication as to where to go for port of call days which only caused chaos when getting off boat.

Booking was the best part , didn’t have to do anything

Outstanding first cruise experience and will definitely schedule additional cruises on the carnival Elation.

The cruise was great had it not been overshadowed by the toilet issue. We really enjoyed Progreso snd found the staff onboard the ship to be friendly. The ship was outdated but clean.

Negatives: super crowded, very rough seas (half of our group was physically sick), unless you eat in a specialty dining room the food was terrible. Long lines. Hot tubs with 10+ people at all times. Tiny pool. Positives: Lots of activities for families; the putt putt, games, water slides were awesome. The rock show and comedian were great.

The ship was very clean, lots of food options that were good quality. The steakhouse that you pay extra for is definitely worth it! The service was excellent and it was a lot of fun - always something going on. The weather was rainy and unseasonably cold, but it was a great experience. I am not easy to please with food or service and was concerned about Carnival being a less expensive brand, but I would travel with them again and have no complaints.

paradise was small ship -Lei Lei the director was awesome, very animated, great energy very small pool, small "water park" like 3-4 slides, not much to do outside on top deck for kids besides the mini golf and ping pong table. food was great - loved guys burgers! photographers were very aggressive, took about 3-6 pics at each backdrop [about 5+ backdrops a night] photos were printed on display to grab attention then "recycled" if not bought - terrible idea given the pictures were SO expensive, $15-20 a piece. 4 year old LOVED the ocean kids club - great staff. Joined bingo and deal or no deal, very fun!
