Worst Carnival Experience... by ramosdenise2013

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Jubilee

Drinks were good, comedy shows were awesome. Musicals were ok, Food was horrible. I even had to each a grill cheese because food was horrible. Who eats crappie food on Vacation. Especially because of the price we pay.

It was a great experience. I love all 3 destinations. All of the staff are amazing. I love the found and lost areas. We lost 3 items, and all found. Great foods.

a bit disappointed by garaldcarr

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Magnifica

We did not enjoy this ship as well as we have some of the other MSC ships. Not up to the usual MSC standards for comfort, ease of mobility through the ship, food and service in the dining room or activities. The one thing that was most difficult to contend with was the MSC app for access to daily planner, menus, and other information. It was not only slow but difficult to use. Your program needs some serious tweaking.

Cost effective for larger groups by dpultzjr

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Paradise

Overall, great value for the price. If you're a larger group that doesn't mind squeezing 4-5 people in a single room in order to save on cost, then this is the cruise for you. If instead you're the type of vacationer who would rather pay a little more money and have more conveniences, then you'd be better off booking on a newer boat and just booking 2 people to a room.

Exceeded expectations!! by zippyscanoe

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas

My wife and I sailed on her last month. I wasn't sure of what to expect as our previous cruise was on an Oasis Class ship. The staff and crew were great, and Jamie, the Cruise Director, was one of the best we have experienced. The ship has aged well. Like the other ships in the fleet you will see ongoing maintenance like painting taking place. New carpets were installed in the common areas this year and WiFi was upgraded to Starlink. And, while it doesn't have the sparkle, glitz, shiny plastics and metal of the new ships, I liked the classic look of natural wood used in many areas. Obviously there are many differences between Grandeur and her newer siblings. For one, there is no helipad deck or lower decks with a forward view. Grandeur doesn't have slides, a fancy water park, or an ice skating rink. No Johnny Rockets, Starbucks, Sorrento's, or Promenade Cafe. Instead, it has Cafe' Latte-tudes on Deck 6, which sells Starbucks branded coffees, a smaller Park Cafe' on Deck 9 aft (forerunner of Cafe' Promenade), which has Sorrento's Pizza, and Windjammer Coffee Station & Sprinkles Ice Cream outside of the Windjammer on Deck 9 forward. Yes, the Windjammer is located forward. There is no Promenade per say, but a more intimate Centrum where many activities take place. Lastly, there a far fewer children. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed Lady G very much. We would not hesitate to sail on her again!

Worst Experience of our whole 6th cruise traveling by saravananp9frnd

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Harmony of the Seas

* I'll never take any cruise ship from Royal Caribbean again in future when compared to this trip which was our 6th one. * The overall ratings for this cruise trip is less than 2 stars. * We have simply wasted our $9000 on this trip and not satisfied at all. * Waste of time and my valuable vacation time. * For my all-previous cruises, they got a rating from 3 to 5 stars but this one was not even closer to them. * Consider and check other cruise ships before taking this one.

Disappointing Experience by alee0914

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Norwegian Breakaway

It was obvious that the Breakaway was missing servers and bar tenders. Had to wait in long lines everywhere.

Nice Ship by twieczorek

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Norwegian Breakaway

We had read many reviews of Breakaway (after we booked it) and I have to admit we were so nervous that we were going to be disappointed. We were not! The ship was very crowded, but overall, you work around it. Just can't say enough about the crew - they made the cruise so enjoyable. We ate great, had lots of laughs and daughters (22 and 14) said they would go on a cruise again. Great family vacation!

Most of the staff amazing. Not enough activities and any activities you have to pay to participate. Not enough shows. It was the same shows just changed a tad bit. Not enough to do on the boat

Overall, it was a lovely cruise by KariKoo

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Seascape

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. MSC has some bad reviews on YouTube, but I had a pretty good experience. It was a good value for the money but be aware of a lot of up selling for every single thing.

First and last time with Royal Caribbean by hpripstein

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Independence of the Seas

Had high expectations because of the price tag but it turns out its only expensive to book for couples families of four are almost the same price. The ship was 50%children running wild until 1am. Ive never been on a ship where I didnt know the captain's name and at least have him make an announcement over the intercom. Drink package was sooooo expensive and chairs on sea day were hard to come by even though the ship was only 75% capacity.
