UnBelizeable! by tlpoff

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Breakaway

The ship and the "floating hotel" functioned flawlessly. Even as an experienced world traveler, I was enthralled by the views, the food and the service.

Wonderful Anniversary Cruise by OESRobinRHS

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Regal Princess

This was our second cruise and we happened to have Micca as our Cruise Director for the second time. He's a great Cruise Director. I met a lady onboard who said that she often cruises free with a different line but that this is her first paid cruise with Princess. Between cruising free with the other line and paying with Princess, she said she'd pay to cruise with Princess. I think that says volumes. I love Princess Cruises or as they say on the ship "I love it here!"

Enjoyed a great cruise. by sandgbarns

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Breakaway

We have been on this cruise 4 or 5 times on different ships. We have always enjoyed the trips, food, service and the people we meet. As with all cruises, it can be as active or as restful a cruise as you want.

Spectacular first time cruiser, perfect selection by lozusta

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Ascent

Give raises to Jorge, Ulum, and Afsar. Get premium wifi if you want video, basic only gets you texts. Stick with classic beverage pkg unless you're a heavy drinker.

So Relaxing! by Debermcp

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Nieuw Statendam

Go to your room, there you will find your card key, the key to all your fun! Everyone in your party, watch the safety video together, then be sure to go find your Muster station, as it's important should an emergency occur. Then grab lunch and review all the fun things to do on the ship. This is when you should wander around and see where everything is! (If you wander first, lunch will be over!) If you haven't downloaded Navigator, do this now. If you have issues, Staff is on hand at various points throughout the ship to assist. On this app, you can see all the activities, check the ones you are interested in and it goes into your "Personal Itnerary" page. There's also a chat feature you can use to chat with your fellow passengers or new friends you make during the cruise. Wi-Fi service on the boat is not needed for this. Take advantage of being unplugged. Don't get Wi-Fi. Service is not guaranteed while on the ocean, the shipwide system with Navigator is all you need. Take advantage during the day of their fantastic Library, enjoying the sea air by the pool or at the many shaded areaas. There are places to meet new friends and places to enjoy some solitude should you desire. The food is Incredible, however there are Specialty Restaurants also aboard that are Amazing. I highly recommend Nami Sushi. Pricing is a la carte and we enjoyed an Amazing Meal for under $30! For both of us!! All the staff greeted me with a Welcome Aboard the first day and never missed an opportunity to ask how our cruise experience has been. Be sure to explore every deck, from the Crow's Nest inside, to the outside viewing deck above the "Nest" all the way down to the bottom floor where the expansive air studio resides. Other decks contain the Music Venue's (Billboard Onboard - dual piano players), Rolling Stone Lounge (across from Billboard) who switch back & forth playiing, to B. B. Kiing's Blues Lounge! There are other lounge areas away from the noise if a more quiet atmosphere is more your vibe. In addition the World Stage hosts musical shows, movies and presentations about the ship & the ocean. Oh, let's not forget the Casino, which is open all night some nights. Now..... here's something you may have not expected. The Photo Studio. Now, lots & lots of pics are taken at all different places and times on the ship, but they have a World Class Professional Photography Studio on board. Hubby (who is very uncomfortable in front of a camera) agreed to do a sitting with me. I figured why not, it'll be fun and there was no obligation whatsoever too buy. So, our first dressy dinner night, we sat for photos. Imam, our photographer was very outgoing and fun, making little comments of encouragement & had hubbs laughing. A day or so later, we returned to see the results and were absolutely SHOCKED at how Wonderful these pics were!!! I doubt we've ever looked quite that good (maybe 30 years ago), but it still absolutely looked like us. They are stunning. I was able to get an album along with all the pics in both black & white and color as well as the copyright, so I'll have no issues doing reprints. My album is a work of art. They took the best 20 pics (each of us alone and together) and mounted them in this book. The quality of this book is unlike any I've ever seen. This will become an Heirloom. So, what are you waiting for??? Holland caters to a more mature crowd, so if you are looking to party hardy with the kids go check out Carnival, but if you are looking for a relaxed, friendly, fun cruise in the most beautiful surrounds, book a Holland America Cruise and get absolutely Spoiled!

Very relaxing winter break by cwoollard

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Symphony of the Seas

Nice winter getaway. Smooth seas, great weather. Enjoyed just staying on the ship on port days and enjoying the amenities. Falmouth was disappointing as they have lost several shops in the port area. Nassau's new port area is very well done but not enough inexpensive shops.

A little dispointed by charlesandapril

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Magic

The ship was ok. This was our 2nd cruise and the 1st ship we went on was much better. Also, very disappointed that we didn't get to see the 3rd port and wasn't given a good reason. The weather was beautiful.

Celebrity Ascent Is a Great New Ship by dpotts529

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Ascent

Celebrity Acent was great! Basic wifi was limiting, aka Iphone to Iphone text only, no pictures. Main dinning rooms were all good, I like the Frencg resteraunt the best. Preium drink package, prepaid for tips, basic Wi-fi and drink package. The last day the gift shop has sales as they try to move more STUFF. Loved the vacation, we had 6 days of Sun.

Great vacation by ToyaC24

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Magic

I haven't cruised in over a decade so the new way of cruising was nice and I went solo. First tip - join the Facebook group with your fellow people that will sail on your date. Carnival has an app and it makes It so easy to keep up with what's going on throughout the day. Itinerary right there in your hand. Embarking was easy. Drop your luggage and onboard. I'd recommend just getting a passport to bypass any issues. The ship is was nice and easy to find things. Easy to navigate. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I enjoyed the entertainment - lady and the vamps, piano bar with Rodney, trivia and the other shows. I didn't find the comedy too funny. Food is plentiful and tasted great - restaurants that you can pay extra at - I didn't dine there. Several bars throughout. 2 casinos. Love, love the pizza. I went during spring break so my only complaint was the teens/kids running around. I avoided any pools because of them and opted for the whirlpools instead and the inappropriate conversations I heard amongst these kids were appalling. I would recommend that their curfew be cut an additional hour than the 1 am. The staff were all polite and friendly. I didn't encounter any issues during my cruise. Disembarking was easy and seamless. I'd opt for allowing carnival to handle your luggage. A few travelers were anxious because Disembarking didn't happen right on time and they had flights (schedule your flights for later in the day if you fly). Overall, I'd recommend this cruise and Carnival. Loved the duck hunt on board. I want to participate and bring duckies next time!

it was ok. weather was great. food not so good no variety and cold. by yayi1978

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Joy

It was ok but been in better cruise lines that are penny pinching for anything you do. And activities should have more options and shows should be better quality. And food needs to be revisit.

Perfect cruise by t0dd

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Icon of the Seas

Icon of the Seas was an excellent ship and would recommend booking it. I did feel it was a bit geared to children over adults, but I guess that's common. Do wish food places would have been open later. Staff was excellent. Ship is brand new and in top shape. Overall, a 10/10 experience.

Great Ship But Too Many Kids by westbagge

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Icon of the Seas

Great ship. But, too many kids. Royal Caribbean markets this ship asa family destination. They say that there’s adult space BUT there’s not enough. We spent seven days trying to find space around their small adult only pool. No luck. This is definitely NOT A COUPLES CRUISE SHIP.
