Great Caribbean and Mexico Cruise by CAFred

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Regal Princess

Princess Cruise out of Galveston, Texas to the Western Caribbean and Mexico was very enjoyable, and features excellent service, food, and entertainment. There is a good variety of shore excursions available at all 3 ports that were visited. Will recommend this cruise to family and friends.

Good not great by baier3

Ship was nice. Easy to navigate. Crew were good. Food got boring after a while. Frozen/mixed drinks seemed weak. Crowd was older.

Overall great cruise by emdoc1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Norwegian Joy

Liked NCL overall with few minor gripes. Good itinerary for folks just looking to go to some sunny spots and a change of scenery. Joy has removed some kid friendly activities and also truncated the size of the observation lounge to add more cabins (revenue), which was disappointing.

Confusing cruise by uvjs30

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Norwegian Joy

I have caused Carnival, Royal Caribbean, MSC, and now NCL, just wanted to try a new cruise line to see if I liked it, well I didn't. I did not expect to work my way for dinner, at least on Royal we had set times and once there we were taken to our table, no fuss, no reservations, I'm on vacation and wanted to enjoy my time. NCL does not communicate or share information well, I felt I was in the dark, this was my first time with NCL, maybe they have so many repeat customers they felt no need to inform us.

Incredible Sailing on The Icon of the Seas by Cruiser74559191

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Icon of the Seas

Thanks to our travel advisor Pam, my husband and I had the absolute BEST cruise we have yet to be on. She spoke from experience about the new Royal Carribean, Icon of the Seas and we were SOLD. It is so nice to be working with someone who can really speak about cruising specifics because she has cruised for so many years and with frequency across many cruise lines. With that background, she is able to help us pinpoint the "must haves" for our vacations. This week cruise we took was nothing short of exceptional. he entertainment, food, bars, pools, they were exceptional. We have not stopped recomending the Icon to EVERYONE we know. Everthing from booking, to deposits, to final deposits, to check in, everything went seamlessly. We could not have had a smoother experience with booking this vacation and actually have already booked our next trip with Pams assistance (shhhh dont tell my husband we already have a deposit down LOL). Thank you Pam for once again making traveling easy!

Beautiful New Ship by thesnowlady4455

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Jubilee

Our first Carnival cruise. The Jubilee is a beautiful ship, the entertainment was great, food was disappointing, staff was attentive, activities were fun. All in all I think we prefer smaller ships and a different cruise line.

Our favorite cruise yet! by butchdandy

The ports were all amazing and we loved the smaller size ship. The crew is fantastic and the food was much better than previous Royal cruises.

Wonderful Cruise by JossyJ

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Icon of the Seas

This trip was phenomenal. My group and my self has a great time. The food was good, not as good as the Wonder of the Seas but still good. We were look forward to oxtail for Caribbean night but was told that was not on the menu. Otherwise, no complaints. We enjoyed ourselves and booked the next cruise already.

First time cruiser by Enyo1991

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Paradise

This was our first cruise and we really enjoyed it. It was relaxing and we were able to drop our kids off at camp ocean which two of our three loved. My youngest did get hurt when a crowd rushed the stage that he was dancing in front of with some other kids, they were the only ones out there then they brought out the glow sticks and he ended up with a knot on his forehead because he got hit when a crowd of grown adults rushed up to get the glow sticks. I feel like they should really hand things like that out in a more organized way. Other than the one incident we loved it and plan on doing it again.

Cruising is an excellent experience for any age group. My kids had a blast, and this was not a kids-focused cruise.

Perfect trip by MaryM73

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas

Only our second trip, but this one was absolutely wonderful! Rode the slide a few times! Wasn't getting in pool or Jacuzzi cause there was sooo many children in them, and I didn't see any of them going to the bathroom! But other than that, everything else was wonderful!

Much Needed Spring Break by Loki2014

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Breeze

This was a great cruise. The appointment arrival time worked very good and quickly. The only thing I didn't like was that I had to purchase my own drinks for the first day even though I had a drink package. Security was quick to round up the teenage kids that were running around.

Nice Caribbean Cruise by jadennis1990

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Wonder of the Seas

My husband and I are in our 60’s. We enjoyed the cruise but realized it’s not our favorite way to vacation. We don’t gamble, drink moderately, don’t shop a lot, etc. On board we found the pools very crowded and the adult pool area was hot and stuffy since there was no airflow. We enjoyed the live bands that played in the evenings. They were our best entertainment. The food overall was very good. The specialty restaurants were very good. The steak at Giovanni’s was the best I’ve had anywhere.

Caribbean Cruise by lhhale

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Reflection

very pleasant time. Suggestions for Celebrity: Have early morning coffee stations and stronger coffee. Dining room menu should offer more varied options. Spa cafe had same food every day so we ate there only once.
