Review summary

Small old ship. It felt crowded… and most of the clientele… I’ll just say that Carnival is the Walmart of cruise ships. There, I said it.

The food lacked … a lot. Dried out chicken, inedible grisly steaks, fish was more like fish sticks. Whether it was the buffet or the restaurant it didn’t matter. The buffet had few choices to choose from. Good thing Guy has his burger joint at least we knew we’d get an “okay” burger to eat.

Small ship so not many things to choose from and crowded.

Music was okay… just average. Two comedians one was decent but the second guy was not funny at all.

Cindy our room attendant was great. But most of the ship’s staff didn’t acknowledge us.

We tried an inside cabin for the first time. It wasn’t as cramped feeling as I expected I’d do an inside room again if I needed to save some money. The walls were too thin. We heard drunks in the hall every morning around 3-4am and we heard our neighbors puking next door. Wonderful….

If as you say, Carnival is the Walmart of cruises, then it is the most sailed, most profitable, most favorite of all other cruise lines. Carnival brand owns many other cruise lines. Try another brand that would fit you better.

Carnival offers a variety of sizes of ships. You have to know what you are booking.
