Enjoyable by gregrieke

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Encore

Will avoid large ships in the future despite great food and service. A few spoiled and rude guests really ruined the dining experienced on a few nights. No fault of the cruise line.

Beautiful Alaskan cruise by elaine30706988

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Norwegian Bliss

The staff was very kind and friendly The wi fi was spotty in the ocean. I wish we could have had a better way to call our family on the ship.

Dissappointing by john21086136

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Bliss

Overall, I enjoyed going to Alaska and doing some excursion. I was disappointment that I saw no galcier that I thought would be part of the sailing experience. Unfortunately I would not recommend Norwegian for future sailors or for that of myself. There were many people both new to NCL and previous NCL cruisers who have echoed the same sentiment. In fact one person who has previously cruised with NCL 10 times told me that this was the worst experience they had with NCL.

Just So Good. We had a wonderful experience, so many great memories. The ship staff was top notch, couldn't have asked for more. Our excursions were beautiful..we did not just shop at ports, we git out and saw Alaska..so glad we did.

Beautiful Alaska by kvnteh

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Radiance of the Seas

This cruise was a great taste of Alaska. Each port has great views and wonderful people. The staff onboard Radiance OTS were excellent and the ship was as expected for it's age. There were some rough waters but overall a great trip.

Horrible experience because of changing booking non ADA room by Green19

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Celebrity Solstice

The sites, kind people, activities on a nice ship were great. Being highly disabled and placed in a small NON ADA room after originally being placed in an ADA room is almost cruel for what I battle with. Put my wife and grandson through much inconvenience that could have been avoided. Hard to forgive that. I'd give the cruise a 2 star even though it automatically gives a 3.8-not true imo

Wonderful Cruise - we were treated royally by dlbeecher497855

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Ovation of the Seas

Overall, great cruise. We hit the rainy season so we were all wet even though we prepared. However, the ship, as stated before was wonderful and everyone was very helpful.

Nice ship, a few disappointments by sabzweig

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Ovation of the Seas

We mostly enjoyed it all. There was a LOT of stress getting to the ship - our companion's air travel was delayed, then cancelled (booked through Air2Sea). They ended up having to spend the night in another town, pay for baggage twice and just making it to the ship on time. The ship was nice, lots to do, it rained a lot, but it is Alaska, so was kind of expected.

Enjoyable views. by glas58

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Ovation of the Seas

Nice itinerary. Excursions didn't provide viewing of much wildlife. The scenic views were awesome. Disappointed that we didn't get to see the glaciers.

Great experience. Small ship so even though it was full I didn’t experience any issues to eat or entertain the family.

Glacier cruise without a glacier sighting!! by dominic26027085

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Ovation of the Seas

This was a glacier cruise but we did not get to see the glacier. Captain decided to skip due to weather but did not care to inform the guests who got up at 5.30 am to see the glacier and were waiting for 2 hrs before the crew told us we were already in Juneau and the captain had decided to skip Endicott!!

ALASKA by fvalerio

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium

This was a land/sea trip. The land part had too many early mornings (6 or 7 AM bag pulls) and the accommodations at Denali park were less than adequate, not what I thought would be up to Celebrity's standards. Would probably not take another land tour with Celebrity. The ship part of the trip was much better than the July cruise I took on the Celebrity Summit to Bermuda.

Amazing Alaska Cruise Trip by mayadiaz2011

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Quantum of the Seas

I was so looking forward to this trip, and was not disappointed at all. Since the moment you arrive to the port, everyone is very friendly. On the ship, nothing but great staff. Activities galore, I was never bored. I wish I had more time to participate in so many activities. Carlo, The singer at the pub is amazing. The crowd loves him. Love the washy washy. Great marketing to get people to wash their hands. Overall this was the best cruise trip I've ever had.

Nothing spectacular but any cruise is a good cruise. by coachoverstreet

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Sun

The cruise was decent and always nice having drink package. The food quality has declined especially in the main dining room. Sports bar is great for late night food, but pizza is only available early afternoon. The weather wasn't very good which dampend the port visits. The entertainment was okay but nothing special. Do not stay on Deck 4 as it isn't laid out very well. Probably our least favorite of the 4 Norweigen cruises we have been on.

Wonderful Alaskan cruise! by BurqueCruiser

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Quantum of the Seas

I enjoyed all the entertainment and activities provided on this cruise. The Quantum of the Seas is a beautiful ship, and all the crew were wonderful. The only complaint I have is the beds were very uncomfortable. Also, Seattle and Victoria ports were not the nicest but that is not Royal Caribbean's fault.

Great Alaskan Cruise by Cruiser70597476

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Celebrity Eclipse

The cruise was excellent. The food was tasty and plentiful. You definitely need to pre pay for wifi and drinks package as coffee types and soft drinks are limited when you do not have itr. My only negative is that the weather at sea or at glacier is cold and the children aren't allowed to use the indoor pool till 4pm which on these cold days is disappointing as it helps us to keep them occupied or heat the outdoor pools so then they can use them.
