Last Alaska Cruise of season by Leanalot

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Norwegian Bliss

This was my second Bliss tour to Alaska, and well worth it all. The ship’s entertainment is one reason I love the ship, the itinerary is exciting and overall, the vacation is what you make of it. All staff were helpful, friendly, accommodating, and hardworking, making our vacation a memorable experience.

Amazing Views by mariabeumer

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Bliss

Had a wonderful time. So glad Ketchikan port was missed due to a storm. We really enjoyed the longer time in Victoria. We did feel there was not enough to do on the ship during the sea days. Also, it was strange we could drink all the alcohol with our package but could not get bottled water. Oh well fun was had by all!!

Breathtaking Alaskan Getaway! by vmboston916

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Norwegian Bliss

This was such an amazing trip! I'm not really a cold weather girl, but it was super mild. The Mendenhall Glacier, Nugget Falls, Dyea Rd and the Musher's camp with sled dog pups were amazing excursions. Just the beauty of the land and nature was breathtaking! I'll definitely be doing it again!

Never had been on Norwegian Cruise line that is why we opted to have a family trip on this line, now I know and I will not be going on NCL again, my son and his wife were also disappointed, should have taken Princess Cruise line!

Super fun, Bliss is the best ship doing Alaska and we were always the biggest ship at port. Incredible views, make sure to get a balcony, totally worth it!

Great itinerary for scenic Alaska. by jawacha59

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Norwegian Jewel

NCL ships are always well maintained and the crews are always fantastic. The Jewel is a small ship and they have had the misfortune of having to put a lot of venues in a small space, which makes the ship layout a little clumsy. Other than than, a great trip.

A nice and relaxing cruise to just chill. Port visits were at times rush but always worth to just take a walk around.

Extraordinary beauty, cruise was average by chrisrafus

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Eurodam

Cruise was beautiful!! The cruise itself was a bit disappointing. Food was average at best and Luke warm. Common areas was near impossible to find seating. Smoking on main observation deck was horrible. Limited access on deck for observation of sea.

Enjoyable cruise, excellent staff and lovely trip despite the weather. by pdominguez136

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Eurodam

For my first time cruise this was a very pleaseant experience. To not miss out on any sites in Alaska I would recommend cruising earlier in the season. But if you enjoy fewer crowds and don't mind possible weather delays this is the cruise for you!!

7 Day Alaska Cruise with 4 Hours Spent in Alaska by marygpaull

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Ovation of the Seas

There's nothing that you can do if the weather takes a turn for the worse. The Captain has to consider the safety of the passengers and crew. However, we paid almost $4000.00 for a 7 Day Cruise to Alaska and only spent 4 hours in the state of Alaska. Royal Caribbean did give us a credit of $400 which is about 10% of the cost of the cruise. We had a lovely time on the ship and I would recommend the Ovation of the Seas to anyone.

Good but weather by tynert2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Ovation of the Seas

Nice trip, but cruises arent for me. There is not enough time to explore. Really bummed that we only had one stop in Alaska. It was also the only place that I have already been to.
