No excursions since we took a rideshare from LAX to here for embarkation. I doubt many will go on an excursion to the LA area as part of a cruise.

Signs to the port were not clear/available enough. Taxi driver and GPS were confused again and again. Better deterministic address could have been helpful

Amazingly fast disembarkation. Maybe because we were only ship docked and only half of the world cruise passengers were disembarking. Port employees were friendly and helpful in guiding us to the right place and onto airport shuttles.

If you fly into LAX, I encourage you to take an Uber or Lift, instead of a taxi. I spent way more than I should have taking a taxi to my hotel. I also encourage if you are staying at a hotel the night before in the area to see if the hotel has an airport shuttle to their hotel. Also a lot of hotels in San Pedro offer a stay at their hotel incentive of a free shuttle to the cruise & free parking while you are on the cruise.

We only ventured out for dinner and only via Uber/Left because the area did not seem very safe to just walk around like tourists sometimes do. But we were only there for the evening before. The Italian restaurant we went to was very good!
