San Pedro is a little bit out of the way from Los Angeles. We flew into Long Beach and stayed in a hotel in that area. It proved to be a smart decision, as LGB was small and very easy to navigate, and it was only a 20-ish minute ride from the hotel to the port.

Did arrive day before so we did explore a bit but it was not more than a place to board our cruise.

No excursion done here. Looks nice on a sunny day. It's LA, so that orange smog blanket over the coast is a feature. I took a transfer from the airport to make the driver deal with LA traffic so I wouldn't have to. Traffic was ok outbound, busy inbound.
