Construction was going on so it was quite confusing to arrive to the terminal. I am sure however the next time it will be easier. Personally I rather get shuttled from a hotel (spend the night the night before).

I did not care for this port! The birds were determined! The water was BROWN and I was given an unworthy reason for this disgusting observation and they thought a room credit would make up for the dirty water. Beware, the only reason I realized it, was because the water turned my white towel brown 🤢

Check-in is easy and incredibly quick as long as you don’t arrive with all the “me first” people. Abundant garage parking. Free self guided tour of the Queen Mary if you show them your boarding pass. Free shuttle into downtown Long Beach. HIGHLY recommend you check out the shop Made. Amazing Long Beach souvenirs handcrafted by local artists.

This was our third cruise with Carnival it was Great! We did some shopping, and had some street Tacos in Ensenada. We got back to the ship and booked another cruise for November 26 on the Inspiration, and we will be taking our teenage children on this cruise which will be their second cruise.

It was easy to get around Long Beach from this port. Getting any kind of ride-sharing car is easy. We got Lyft within 3 minutes or requesting it. Check out Yelp for trending restaurants in the immediate area.

This was a nice weekend get-a-way. The CD was nice and everywhere! The shows were great! My husband and I were able to meet and greet the cast! I look forward to sailing on her again someday.
